She takes a puff

Feeling adventurous, Olivia accepted the joint from the stranger and took a drag, doing her best to ignore the disturbingly soggy end as she inhaled deep. The smoke hit her hard and she was coughing before she even started to exhale, causing a sharp pain in her throat as her head immediately started to spin.

"Woah there little lady." came the man's voice, somehow distant while also spoken right into her ear. His hands were suddenly on her as she felt her knees buckle slightly and she was grateful for it as her world started to spin.

"It's strong stuff, shoulda warned ya." came the voice again as Olivia tried to stand up straight, looking up at the stars only for them to twist and swirl disconcertingly. She slumped again and the man took her weight, guiding her a few steps back to the wall where they could lean for balance.

"Wh-what was that?" Oliva asked breathlessly, only to be met with a chuckle from the stranger.

"Special blend love... stong weed with a little extra kick." He winked at her in a rare moment of clarity for Olivia before she had to shut her eyes again. "Best you sit down for a minute, let the rush pass... here, there's a spot just round the corner..."

They were moving before Olivia knew it - she was more concerned with putting one foot in front of the other than anything else, and just like that, she was guided to, and flopped down onto a dusty old couch around back of the bar. She let out a sigh of relief as her world continued to spin and the stranger patted her head comfortingly.

"Just relax love, I'll take care o' ya."

These would be the last words Olivia would remember the next day - she didn't even notice the tug at her waistband as her pants were pulled off, already drifting away into oblivion.
