She remains unseen, but suffers from bad timing

Selina ducked and weaved among the rusted metal car frames, constantly peaking her head up to check for any approaching inmates. Having grown up on the streets, Selina was already accustomed to the rough asphalt underneath her feet, the distant sounds of **** and the biting, winter wind. But whether it was the paranoia of being in a prison city or the general shame that came with her nakedness, it all felt doubly worse than it used to.

Or maybe it’s because you have no gadgets, she mused. She had often remarked that she felt naked without them, she just never thought it would become so literal. Well, at least it won’t be for long, once I cross the bridge it’s just a straight shot through Park Row to-

Kaboom!

A distant explosion interrupted her train of thought. She felt the bridge shudder violently beneath her as she witnessed the bridge collapse further along the road. The good news: her section of the bridge was outside the blast radius. The bad news? The section of bridge that was destroyed was the part that led to Park Row, and by extension - her apartment.

“Crap!” Selina stomped her feet on the ground. Just my luck that those boys would escalate their stupid gang war right at this moment. Whether it was Penguin trying to trap the clown’s forces, or the Joker securing his position at the steel mill, it didn’t matter. All that mattered was that Selina would now have to double back and take a longer route to Park Row. Or, search the nearby areas for something that would help her cross the ravine.

Selina took in her surroundings and took stock of her options. She could double back to the hotel and negotiate with Ivy again. But the breeze against her bare skin reminded her of how poorly it had gone last time.

The Krank Co. Toys factory was nearby, annd could contain some valuable gadget parts. But it was occupied by Bane, who didn’t take kindly to strangers.

The old GCPD building was home to Mr Freeze. But the snowman didn’t really own any clothes, and temperatures in the building would be below zero. Selina shivered, she was barely coping with normal winter temperatures in her current state.

Gotham City Olympus required a slight jump, and could allow her to cross over to Park Row. But rumours of a mysterious supervillain occupant put Selina off. She’d rather avoid surprise entanglements at this present time.

And then there was the Industrial district, home to the steel mill - and Joker’s headquarters. This would be her riskiest option, as the place was crawling with joker’s insane thugs. And after this bombing run, everyone would be on high alert. However, Harley Quinn did owe her some favours, which would be useful. But given the rumours of Joker’s failing health, would she even be in a charitable mood?
