Chapter 98

What does Sophia do?
She panics and tries to explain.
“Okay, listen! This isn’t what you think! No, wait! How much did you read!? I swear I don’t think of you that way! I mean, I-I… I d-do, but this isn’t…!”
“Sophia, clam down.” You tell her with a serious look. She’s completely flustered and panicking, fanning herself with her notebook. You don’t blame her, of course. You got your porn folder found out, too. “If you want to explain, I’ll listen, but this isn’t the place. Look, I swear I’m not judging. I’m very, VERY curious, sure, but if you don’t want to talk about it, we’ll forget this ever happened.” You wish you were telling the truth, but this isn’t something you’ll soon forget.
“N-No. I want to explain.” She breathes in and out, calming herself, though her face is still very much red. “Please let me explain. Rooftop?”
You nod. She turns around and starts walking before hastily turning to you again and clarifying. “I meant to talk! Just talking! No… t-things…!” She eyes the notebook in her hands.
Your raise your hands to defensively. “Of course. We’re going to talk. Rather, you will explain, I will listen, and things will go back to normal.” The “if you want to” is left unsaid, but given that Sophia turns around again and groans in a mix of embarrassment and annoyance, she felt it.
Also, first time you see her embarrassed. She’s cute.
Once on the rooftop, you make sure there’s no one around and sit down on the bench by the fence. Sophia not only sits about two arms away from you, but can’t even look in your general direction.
“How much did you read?” She asks with narrowed eyes. She’s obviously gone from embarrassed to pissed.
“Not going to ask why I had it?” You try to deflect.
“I know I dropped it. I was looking for it. Where did you find it?”
“The stairs in front of the cafeteria.”
“Of course! That when I bumped into… Urgh!” She shakes her head violently, her slightly wavy, black hair becoming a mess that covers her face. “So how much did you read!?” She snaps.
“Only a couple of pages!” You hastily reply to the angry hair monster, showing your empty hands, as if that was proof of anything.
She fixes her hair, moving out of her face and speaks again. “No use hiding it now, I guess. What did you read?”
“Well, I read those arguments, of course. Very well thought out, by the way.” You say, trying to use flattery to appease the girl.
While she effortlessly sees through it and replies with and unamused “Yeah, thanks” she seems a little bit less angry.
“I only read the one where…” You clear your throat. “… ‘David’ pushes… the protagonist against the wall.” You say, purposely avoiding the “I” and “you” pronouns. “And the one where David has a fivesome with other… familiarly named characters.”
Again, Sophia burrows her face in her notebook to hide herself, but you still see her red face. Yet in a move that impresses you, she takes a deep breath, slaps her cheeks twice, breathes again and manages to recover her composure.
“Alright, here’s the thing. Sophia Johnson is a virgin.” She speaks in third person as if to distance herself from that statement. “She was a nerdy girl with a huge stage fright problem. She couldn’t even do exposition assignments in school. Sadly, that translated into huge insecurities. As a result, in high school, she immersed herself in the three things she loved most: Movies, books… and writing erotica to live her fantasies.”
You’re not sure this is the kind of explanation you wanted, or even expected, but you keep quiet. This is an opportunity to know her better.
“Then, on her senior year, Sophia decided she’d had enough of that stupid stage fright ruining her life. She joined the school chorus, the band, and the debate team to push through her insecurities. By the end of that year, she was not much different than the girl you see before you.” She sighs heavily and seems to drop the third person narrative. “I started speaking to people more, trying my best to be more outgoing. I was tired of spending day after day in my room, not getting to know new people. So I **** myself to be more outgoing, and it worked. And I like it. However… my original interest didn’t change. I still like movies, books… and writing erotica to live my fantasies.”
“You’re telling me you never got a boyfriend in the process?” You ask.
“All-girls school. My life was commuting from home to school then back home. I was too scared to look outside my comfort zone, if you could call it that.” Sophia smiles weakly.
“You pushed through your insecurities to become more outgoing, but didn’t push through them to get a boyfriend?”
“Yup. Is it weird? I was more scared of a heartbreak than public embarrassment.”
You know what? It’s not weird. You weren’t much different. Have the recent happenings made you forget where you come from? You were a nerd who could barely speak to a girl he liked. You understand exactly where she’s coming from.
“Okay, it’s not. I’m sorry, I… things have been weird since I got to Hayes. I used to be just like you in the emotional department, only I immersed myself in the internet, tv show, Japanese cartoons and free video recorded pornography.” You admit, mirroring Sophia’s smile.
Sophia breaths in once more and continues. “So I kept writing erotica… with me as the protagonist, of course. Never meant to be published or read by anyone but me. Male leads were always… I don’t know, generic Romeos or hunks. Then I suddenly find out you’re dating two girls at the same time and… that lit something in me. A guy with a harem sounded oddly… arousing.” Her cheeks start reddening again, but this is the main topic, so she pushes through it. “I asked myself… why not three girls? Why not four? Why couldn’t I be a part of it? In my fantasies, I can do whatever I want, and have whatever I want done to me.”
You know what’s oddly arousing? This conversation.
“Before I knew it, you were the model for my male lead… then outright became my male lead. I started to have this idealized version of you who could…” She bites her lip and stops herself. “You know what? I’ve said enough. You don’t want to know about my kinks and I’m not sure I want to tell you. Just… I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable with that.”
“It didn’t make me uncomfortable. Honestly, I’m flattered. What’s more, I think you’re really good at writing. True, I don’t know much about erotica, but what little I read… got my heart pumping.” You give her a shy smile.
“R-Really?”
“Yeah. I don’t know if this is appropriate to say, but you painted such a clear picture of how I made you feel, that… well…” You want to finish that sentence, but you don’t dare. You want to do those things to her, to have her live her fantasies with you. Your dick is practically asking you to push her against the fence and have you way with her right here and now, just like she wrote. Of course, you know better than to do that.
Given Sophia’s nervous smile, she knows what you wanted to say. “I’m sorry. Like I said, I created this version of you in my head that was almost like an Arab Sheikh, an insatiable beast…” She tries, but her eyes can’t meet yours. She’s accepted that you’re talking about it but is still embarrassed. “I don’t think that was fair of me.”
“Hey, your fantasies are your fantasies. You can do what you want in them, right? Besides… some fantasies can come true.”
Sophia flinches as you say that, and you realize how that sounded like, so you immediately continue. “I know something about you now, so would it be fair for me to tell you something about… my sex life?”
The black-haired girl presses her lips nervously, takes a deep nasal breath and silently nods. So she does want to hear it.
“Truth is, you’re not far off with the things you wrote.” You admit, and Sophia turns to look at you with wide eyes. “A lifelong fantasy of mine has been to have a harem.” You can’t help but chuckle. “Funny. I haven’t even told this to Emily and Megan.” You did admit to Emma that you wanted to have sex with many women at the same time, but that’s a little different than having a harem.
“I always thought it would be impossible for a guy like me. I said I was just like you, right? The only girlfriend I had in high school treated me like shit, and when I got to Hayes, everyone hated me. I always knew it would always be that, a fantasy. But then… things happened. I got close to two” Four “amazing girls that I’m madly in love with and I was lucky enough that they feel the same way about me. And so… my biggest fantasy is on its way to becoming true. Threesomes are a common thing now, even if I’m just now becoming able to fully satisfy my partners. What’s more, even though it’s true that I love them with all have, I still want more because I’m a greedy bastard.” You smile wryly.
Why is it so easy to admit this to Sophia when you haven’t been this direct with Emma, Megan, Emily and Mia? Is it because you know her deepest desires? You see the girl beside you shifting in place and holding onto the hem of her skirt.
“So… you’re actively looking to build a harem?” She asks nervously. Also, it’s subtle, but you notice her scooting ever so slightly closer to you.
“Pretty much.” You nod and scoot a little closer to her.
“H-How?” She comes a little closer.
“Just meeting people, I guess? I’ve told this to someone before, but I’m a little too quick to fall in love.” You can’t help but smile self-deprecatingly.
“B-Be honest, please. H-How many girls are you with now?” She’s a little closer.
You swallow hard. So she has suspicions that Emily and Megan are not the only ones. “Three. With two other… developing relationships.” You admit, getting just a bit closer to her too.
This time you hear her swallow and mutter “Five girls…” She flinches when her thigh bumps into yours and she realizes you’re right next to each other. She struggles, but finally looks at you directly. She opens her mouth to talk, but words don’t come out. Her full lips quiver, her head leans in two inches closer to you before immediately retreating one.
What’s going on? What should you do?
You can’t see your phone now, but you just KNOW her lust score has gone up from that previous 51. Sophia’s face is red, her breathing is ragged and her eyes look at you with hesitation just as her body debates whether to pounce on you or not.
That’s what it is, right? You’re not reading her wrong, are you? Your thoughts are racing, yet your body feels stiff. You’re afraid. Afraid that, whatever you do now will somehow hurt Sophia.
Does she want you to make the first move? To kiss her? To touch her? To take her? What will she think if you don’t? Will she feel dejected, disappointed? What if you have it wrong and she doesn’t want you to do anything? It’d be terrible if you **** yourself on her.
You’re conflicted. Your mouth is dry. What should you do?
What DO you do?
