She may be dead but she's still Missy
"Really, Agent Ross?" asked Missy. "An incendiary grenade? Was that the best that you got?"
"I got a whole purseful if you're interested, Missy," said Marcie, still wincing from the wound in her leg.
"You're welcome to try," said Missy, "but I'll just bat them aside again with this umbrella I found within the church. It's not as good as my old one but well, you and Rose saw to it that I'd never get that one back."
"Hey, you attacked us, not vice versa," said Marcie. "And you would have been perfectly content to just stand there while Darla and Angelus took us apart so don't go trying to make me feel guilty about anything that happened to you."
"Personally, I find this conversation boring, Agent Ross," said Missy, "and I'm very tempted to liven it up by placing a crossbow bolt right in the center of one of your lungs. But unfortunately, I first need to talk to your employer."
"Why do you wish to speak to me?" asked Drusilla. "I have nothing to say to you save 'go away!'"
"As much as I disdain your company, Drusilla," said Missy, "leaving you isn't really an option for me. I still need to find out what you did with the magic typewriter."
"Oh, that," said Drusilla. "I gave that back to the original owner as soon as I found out from Rose that I was living in a time machine. Granted, Marcie made the actual delivery but still --"
"You're a liar," said Missy. "I've been with the original owner all this time and I would have known if you or Agent Ross returned it."
"If you really believe Miss Oswald was the original owner of that typewriter," said Drusilla, "then you really aren't as clever as I thought you were."
"You're starting to get on my nerves, Drusilla," said Missy. "Tell me where I can find the typewriter and I'll let you and your minion live."
"You can't kill me," said Drusilla. "I'm already dead."
"Maybe I can't kill you," said Missy, "but I can send you to oblivion with one neatly aimed crossbow bolt. So tell me where I can find the --"
"Hey, what's going on?" asked a voice from behind Missy.
Missy turned and sure enough, the Slayer was standing right there with two of her little witch friends.
"This is none of your business, Slayer," said Missy. "I'll call for you when I need the Lady in Red slain. Not right now."
"Oh, that's rich," said Buffy. "First you try to blow us up, then you **** us, and now you expect us to do favors for you. And what are you doing with Cordelia anyway?"
"I'm not Cordelia," said Marcie. "I'm Marcie Ross."
"Sure, Cordelia," said Buffy. "Make jokes at a time like this. But seriously, why are you here?"
"She works for her," said Missy, pointing to Drusilla.
"Seriously, Cordelia?" asked Buffy. "You work for a vampire?"
"Buffy, are you seriously questioning the founding member of Angel Investigations because you're surprised to hear that she works for a vampire?" asked Drusilla. "Do you have any idea how moronic that makes you sound?"
"Oh, please don't go there, Drusilla," said Buffy. "You know full well that her working for you isn't the same thing as her working for Angel."
"Why isn't it?" asked Drusilla.
"You know why," said Buffy. "Anyway, where is this magic typewriter I keep hearing about?"
"I just told Missy that I gave it back to its original owner," said Drusilla.
"Don't be silly," said Buffy. "We've been travelling with the original owner. Both of them, in fact. None of them mentioned getting that typewriter back from you. In fact --"
Just then future Clara Oswald walked up and immediately pointed to Drusilla. "There she is, Buffy!" she cried. "The Lady in Red! Quick! Kill her! Kill her! Kill her! Kill her!"
