She makes it

Samui made it to the Hidden Leaf Village without any trouble, just as she expected. This just proved how peaceful the world was at the moment, the only real problem with traveling is the occasional bandit. She ran into a couple but was easily able to dispatch them, she wasn’t one of the best Jonin in Kumo for nothing after all. Braking off from that thought Samui noticed she walked through the massive gates of the Leaf village and headed straight for the Hokage tower to check in and see where she was staying.

It wasn’t hard to located the tower as if you walk straight down the main road of the village from the gate you will reach it after a short walk. It took Samui about 20 minutes to get there though since it was still a fair distance and she wasn’t in a hurry to get there. Once making it there Samui walked in and make her way to the Hokage’s office. Once there she noticed the Hokage’s assistant, she could vaguely remember the woman’s name being Shizune, sitting at a desk outside the door much like Mabui does for the Raikage. The woman seemed so into the paperwork at her desk that she didn’t notice Samui was there until she spoke up, “Is the Hokage free at the moment?”

That snapped Shizune’s head right up startled at hearing someone speaking. It startled her since she didn’t know Samui was there otherwise she would have been fine. She took a few seconds to collect herself before replying, “Yes she is. May I ask who you are?” Shizune asked this cheerfully even after seeing the modified Hidden Cloud flak jacket she was wearing.

Samui didn’t have any reaction to this however and just kept speaking in her monotone voice, “I am Samui, Jonin of the Hidden Cloud Village, and the one chosen to be the ambassador between our two villages." Samui’s voice never changed at all throughout her entire introduction.

Shizune, a bit put off by the monotone tone of voice, just nodded at her before saying, “Lady Tsunade has been expecting you. Please head right on in.” Shizune said regaining the usual gentle smile that was on her face. Samui didn’t respond to this only nodded and walked towards the office door. Once there she opened the door and walked in shutting the door behind her. Shizune let out a sigh when she was sure the woman couldn’t hear her. Why did she always have to deal with the weird ones.

When Samui entered the office, she noted that it was much smaller than the Raikage’s office was. Though they both had a similar view as they both had windows that let you see the whole village from the office. She cut off her looking around to focus on Tsunade who was sitting at her desk doing paperwork. Samui approached the desk and offered a bow to the Hokage. When she rose from her bow Samui spoke, “Lady Hokage I am Samui the ambassador for the Hidden Cloud Village. I was told to come here immediately upon entering the village.”

Tsunade rose a brow at the other blonde woman’s tone of voice finding the monotone odd but just shrugged it off after dealing with Gai and Kakashi this was a welcome change. Those thoughts were thrown out though as she had business to attend to. “Welcome to the Hidden Leaf Village Samui. I assume you’re here about living arrangements during your stay?”

“Yes Lady Hokage,” was Samui’s short reply to Tsunade’s question.

“Very well then,” Tsunade said not missing a beat, “You will be staying with ……”
