Chapter 2 by crackjaw crackjaw

She learns more about her new self

She was now following the other orc, whose name she still didn’t know, through a forest as she tried to think of a way out of this. She was afraid at first that her unprotected skin and feet would suffer while walking through bushes and past trees, but to her surprise nothing bothered her much. Her new skin was tougher than it looked, almost like leather, and her feet felt no pain as they stomped over roots and rocks.

“Ugh! A fallen tree,” grumbled the orc, as they stopped in front of a large tree trunk blocking their path. “Help push it away!”

Saek was skeptical when she saw how large the tree was, but when both of them combined their immense strength the tree was slowly shoved out of the way. She looked down at her own muscles with quiet surprise, and tested them by grabbing a smaller bush and pulling it. Her past self wouldn’t have been able to even budge it, but her new size and strength let her completely uproot the shrub with barely any effort!

‘It’s a lot to get used to’, she thought as the two resumed walking through the forest. There was also her nose, which now that it was outside and a bit calmer, she realized it picked up a lot of different smells than she was used to. The morning dew under the leaves, the sweet smell of sap coming from recently broken bark or branches. And once she smelled blood, and turning her head while sniffing some more she discovered the source, a dead bird lying on the ground a few meters away. She had smelled it, even from here! Amazing!

Less amazing was the new thing between her legs. She couldn’t even bear to glance at it before looking away, and that was while it was still covered by her loincloth! It was huge! She could feel it dangling and occasionally smacking against her thigh as she walked, and it was still soft! Only a while back, in her memories, she had been dainty, cute and petite! Now she had… This thing! Dangling!

‘It‘s going to be really hard to make myself cute when I look like this!’ She thought as her heart sank. She always enjoyed looking cute.

“We’re here! Hahaha *snort*!” Grunted the other orc. She focused on the path ahead and saw the trees were getting sparser, letting her see further away. They were on top of a hill, overlooking a valley. And at the bottom of the valley was a quaint little village, with houses made of wood and thatch where she could see tiny people moving back and forth going about their tasks. They were too far away to make out any details, but she could tell their skin looked pink or light brown, not green like the orcs.

“That looks like a nice place,” she said without thinking. It certainly looked much better than the cave she was in before. She wondered if she could live there instead?

“Yeah.” The orc gave a nasty grin. “Sweet, plump little elf-things. Good for raiding! Good for breeding!”

“Oh. Yeah… Raiding… Breeding…” Muttered Saeki as her expression fell. She had briefly forgotten about their reason for coming here.

“We attacks one of the little huts away from the middle.Less chance of fighting that stoopid knight! And more chance of getting us unbroken elfling!” And the creature licked its lips with its long, bumpy tongue. “Unbroken ones are the best, hehehe. One good thrust and they turn happy, cum-drunk cocksleeves!”

“Gross,” she replied before she could stop herself. This comment finally got a reaction from the other orc.

“Urgzobb, your head alright? You talk like you got hit on head”

“I… Wasn’t hit in the head,” she stammered. “What is wrong with my vocabulary?”

“Vo…kaboolary?” Grunted the orc. “I never heard of this vokaboolary thing, but it be acting weird! Get orc doctor to fix your vokaboolary before you do something stoopid, Urgzobb!”

And he smacked her once, hard, right in the head. Something which she would normally protest about and even cry a little while whining cutely ‘it huuuurts~!’ whenever her manager or a friend did something similar. But the slap barely registered on her head, little more than a bump. Not only her skin, but her bones also looked incredibly thick and resistant. Once the other orc felt her had Saeki’s attention he pointed at one of the huts.

“Listen close! We go attack that hut there! I go inside and grab a elf-thing or two! You stay outside and watch if any other elf comes. If they strong, you distract them. If they weak, you grab them too! Get it?”

“Eeeeeh?” She did not look happy to be there. “Can’t we just use diplomacy? Talk things out with them?”

“No! Ugh! You dumber than cocksleeve elf!” And he gave her another head slap for emphasis. “When I go in, you stand outside! Get it?”

“I guess…” She whined.

“Good!”

And the two started going down the hill, staying carefully behind the trees as they approached their intended target: a hut on the edge of town.
