She is still missing underwear

Felicity skips out of the store alongside him as he holds the bag now containing a bunch of new dresses. She still can’t believe he has brought them all, along with his comments that suggest he plans to get to see her in each and every one of them at some point. She slips her hand into his as they walk slowly through the crowds, not caring where it is they might be heading. Right now, she realises she doesn’t even care if she happened to bump into anyone she might know.

“Ok, think you’re quite well supplied with dresses” he begins as they walk, “so what’s next on the shopping list then young lady?” She looks towards him, amazed that he is even suggesting buying anything else.

“Oh I couldn’t, you’ve already brought me way too much” she protests, but she is sure they are weak, knowing deep down she really won’t stop him if he suggests anything more.

“Lingerie” he declares to her, loud enough that Felicity is sure an elderly couple walking past at that moment hear and give them a strange look. “After all…” he gives her a knowing look, and she knows he is referring to her current situation of not actually wearing any at that precise time.

“You shouldn’t, I have loads, honest, I can’t let you buy me more” Felicity tries to sound convincing but it’s clear he has already made his mind up, and much to her delight, soon finds herself being guided into another shop whose darkened windows she’s always wondered about, but until now, had never set food inside.

“Yes, this looks the place” he informs her, rather pointlessly as she scans around the store, taking in the sight of rows of lingerie that she doubts she would ever be able to put in the laundry at home as she doesn’t think she would be able to explain them to her mum!
