This time, Lux isn’t being held back by a silly collar. With a gesture and a swift incantation, she conjures a mass of thick, strong webs to block the passage behind her. There’s no time to watch the result; the next moment, she’s squeezing her way past the closing door, blinking against the dazzling light of day, feeling grass and dirt under her feet. A chorus of shout and curses echo along the corridor as the bandits stumble into the sudden barrier.

It might take them only moments to push their way through…but they don’t have moments. Glancing back, Lux gets to watch the bandit leader’s expression of determination turn to one of panic as the stone door slides closed, trapping him and his men at the mercy of the Great Machine.
