Chapter 11 by ThomasMoro ThomasMoro

What does Dorothy do next?

She goes after the monkeys

"I guess I have ****," said Dorothy. "We have to go after those monkeys."

"I guess we're right, Dorothy," said the Scarecrow. "It looks like we have to walk down this Yellow Brick Road and see where it goes."

"Can I come along too?" asked the Tin Man.

"Does he have to?" asked Dorothy.

"Now, Dorothy, be nice," said the Scarecrow. "You never know when a guy with a great big ax will come in handy. Yes, Mr. Tin Man, you can come along."

"Hoo-boy," said the Tin Man. "Emerald City, here we come!"

"Emerald City?" asked Dorothy. "I thought we were going to the Witch's Castle?"

"Maybe later," said the Scarecrow. "Now let's get away from these trees. Wait! Are those poppy fields I see on the horizon?"

"Maybe," said Dorothy. "But maybe we're better off taking that short cut through that dark forest."

"You want to go through another forest after what you just went through?" asked the Scarecrow.

"Not really," said Dorothy. "But at least this forest does not have apple trees."

"Yes," said the Tin Man. "But it might have lions."

"Really?" asked Dorothy.

"Yes, really," said the Tin Man. "And it might also have tigers."

"Oh, no!" exclaimed Dorothy.

"And leopards!" said the Tin Man.

"And leopards?" asked Dorothy.

"And black panthers!" said the Tin Man.

"Black panthers?" asked an increasingly skeptical Dorothy.

"Yes, and wolves," said the Tin Man.

"Next thing you know, you'll be saying they have foxes," said Dorothy.

"Hey, don't flatter yourself," said the Tin Man.

"What does that mean?" said Dorothy.

"Guys, guys, guys!" shouted the Scarecrow. "I think I see something up ahead."

What does the Scarecrow see?
