She gives up

Kelly Ann got up. She was freezing. She realized she had nowhere to go. Even if she did make it off the Masterson's property, she was naked, and it was freezing. She got up and rubbing her skin with her mittens, made her way back to the house.

The Mastersons were waiting for her by the garage door.

Kelly Ann bowed her head and covered herself the best she could.

"Care to explain?" asked Mrs. Masterson.

"We were playing...."

"We?" asked Mr. Masterson.

"Oh," said Kelly Ann as she realized she was not supposed to have guests. "I was lonely and..."

"We told you no guests," said Mrs. Masterson.

"I know, but it's lonely and a bit scary out here....Can we go inside?"

"Yes, lets meet your friend," said Mr. Masterson.

They went inside. Vikki was standing there in her flannel pajamas looking embarrassed and guilty.

"Can I put some clothes on?" asked Kelly Ann.

"No!" said Mrs. Masterson. "I think you should stay naked since you seem to like it enough to go out in the snow like that."

"Please!" said Kelly Ann.

"Quiet!" said Mr. Masterson. He turned to his wife. "I think we should continue this in the basement."

His wife gave him a sly, knowing smile.
