She doesn't really have a choice

"Fine, you always did manage to get me to follow you into trouble," Carla sighed, defeated. She finished up her drink, put down her glass, and sheepishly followed her friend over to where her former crush was standing.

Brian was stood talking to some guys Carla recognized as former fellow football players. She remembered making out and more with a few of them at various parties, which caused an embarrassed flush on her face.

Alexa got straight into it, barging into the group and interrupting their conversation. "Hi boys," Alexa playfully said to the group, a wide grin on her face, walking seductively towards them. The guys had turned toward Alexa, she was at the centre of all their attention, just how she liked it.

"Wow, hey Alexa," Brian said, eyes focused right at her chest. "Damn, Lex. You're looking hot!" Brian's friend Greg added.

Alexa leans on the bar sexily, enjoying the eyes of the guys all over her body. She stuck her butt out and pushed her chest forward so they could get a good look at her.

"So who is going to buy us beauties some drinks then?" Alexa says while grabbing Carla who had been hanging back, Alexa pulled her forward and thrust her to the center of the group.

"Erm, hey guys" Carla says shyly, giving an awkward wave at them, before looking at the floor, feeling very uncomfortable at the sudden attention on her.

"Hey, is that Carla DeAngelo? Damn, you're looking good," Greg says, lips pursed in appreciation as he checks her out.

"Yeah, you look amazing, Carla," Brian agrees, shooting her the same big, dimpled smile she used to dream about, his bright, green eyes meeting hers.

"Oh, thanks," she responds, trying to remain calm yet unable to stifle a giggle, feeling a tingling in her chest, smiling back at a staring Brian.

"Soooo, we’re like really thirsty here," Alexa says, nodding towards the bar.

"Oh yeah, sure, what are you girls having?" Brian asked, looking away from Carla and getting the bartender's attention.

The drinks started going down very well. Everyone was starting to get tipsy, relax and have fun, and the flirting was starting to flow. Alexa was not subtle and was very open and direct in her ways of expressing her feelings, she seemed even more confident than when they were in school. She tried to bring Carla into conversations, who was starting to come out of her shell more, but did need and appreciated the encouragement from Alexa.

Carla was now starting to feel much more comfortable. Her fears and dread having left her, replaced with the merriment and confidence that came after several drinks, she was really starting to enjoy herself. Having Lexi here had really helped, but she was feeling like she should go mingle and see what other people she could meet, as this was the reason for her coming in the first place. On the other hand though, she was loving being with Brian and the guys and was enjoying feeling like her old high school self again, having the most fun she'd had in a long time. She was also starting to feel the effects of the **** and maybe needed to have a break and some fresh air.
