She doesn't need one. An opportunity presents itself.

"Passengers and Guests!" Said a man bursting forth from the staircase leading downward to the galley. "Welcome to the Princess' Burden galley ship. I'm pleased you all decided to join us on this voyage. I am Captain Vince Stone and as you can tell we are on our way." He said with a large grin.

"This isn't your ordinary ship or destination as most of you know. We will be taking a trip not only to a warm tropical island but back in time to a simpler time. A time where men and women could be sold and bought at the whim of their betters." He continued in a theatrical manner.

Amanda watched closely as the twenty or so passengers gathered around him to share drinks that other crew members were passing around. The group mingled and got to know each other slowly.

"Captain. When will we be allowed to see the galley at work?" Said one well dressed man. "I'm extremely interested in its slaves."

"Why don't we all just take a tour now?" He said back with a smile. "Everyone stick close. I would hate for one of you young women to be mistake for a galley ****."
