She awakens in a forest with no recollection of how she got here

Danae slowly came to her senses. Her eyes fluttered open but instead of a ceiling of some kind she was greeted by the green of nature. Instead of a bed she could feel mossy ground beneath her, a sensation she was rather uncomfortable with.

As she got up she noticed a distinct lack of clothing. Her traditional clan markings and the jewelry giving her status was still embedded in her body, but everything else was gone. It made her less uncomfortable than she had thought but nudity was never something sexual for her. She had theoretical knowledge of procreational activities but had never found them to be appealing to her so she was still untouched by others than herself.

The elven woman looked around, trying to get a bearing on her situation. Nothing but forest was surrounding her. Which was unusual since she rarely left civilized areas. She tried to remember why she would have come here, but nothing sprung to mind.

She realized that she had no recollection of how she got here or why? Or what she had done prior to this. Rune study, sure. Even if she had just started, her knowledge of the arcane arts was with her, if nothing else.

Danae decided that carefully traversing the forest to find a road, settlement or anything familiar really, was her best course of action.
