She agrees, but with a twist

Ms. Pershing nods at the group in the doorway. Immediately, someone pulls a dark bag over your head, blocking out your vision.

"Hey, what the hell?!" You try to take it off, but someone holds your arms behind you in a vice grip. A small gas is sprayed into your face through the bag. Your eyes grow heavy, and you feel sleepy. You vaguely feel yourself being dragged away as you fall asleep.

You slowly begin to wake up as cool air washes over your body. Your arms are stuck to the side on some kind of armrests. You start to realize you're in a chair.

"Sam? Sam, are you up?"

You recognize Chris's voice and turn your head up to look at her. She stands in front of you wearing nothing but her underwear. You can't help but feel arousal mix with your confusion at seeing your best friend nearly naked.

"C-Chris?" You ask. "W-What happened? Where am I?"

"You're safe," Chris says. "We just had to tape your arms down to keep you from flailing around or freaking out. These guys are really strict about safety."

As the haze clears, you're able to see the room around you. It's some kind of ancient chamber made out of stone and mortar, like you saw in adventure movies and video games. Torches around the room keep it lit. There are several walkways surrounding you, but it's too dark to see what lies down them.

You look down at yourself and are shocked to see that you are only dressed in your boxers. "What the - why am I in my underwear?!"

"It's kind of a dress code and safety thing," Chris said. "We're usually naked, but we didn't want you to feel like we did anything to you in your sleep."

You turn to the side to see Nebula in a chair beside you, also dressed in her underwear and arms taped to the armrests. She has wide eyes as she looked around the room in shock and amazement. "I knew places like this existed! We were on to something the whole time! Oh, this is so amazing!"

Your eyes rest on her underwear, transfixed on her heaving breasts and thin hips. Despite being attracted to her, the next sentence comes out without you thinking about it. "You wear Superman underwear?"

Nebula isn't even fazed. "Yeah, he's the coolest alien to exist! Besides, my Invader Zim ones are in the wash."

Her head whips around to Chris. "Wait, that remind me! How many aliens are here? Are they recruits too? What about vampires? I know they're mostly around at night, but they've got to -!"

Nebula's questions are cut short as Chris sticks a strap of duct tape over her mouth. Chris takes a step back in frustration. "God, she would NOT shut up while you were out."

You start to feel a small twinge of horror. "What the hell is going on? Are we supposed to be sacrificed or something?"

Chris looks shocked that you'd ask that. "No! Of course not! We'd never do anything to hurt you!"

"Then what is going on here?!"

Chris takes a deep breath before answering. "We're part of a group called the Harem Society. It's an organization dedicated to making sure someone we love reaches their full potential."

You're absolutely floored by this. "Harem? Is this person me? I have my own cult?"

"It's not a cult!" Chris defends. "Well, not entirely. Some of the girls here act like it is. Alena's into the whole magic thing."

"Alena's here too?" You ask. "Dana? Denise? The Misfits? Even you?"

Chris' lip quivers as she kneels down to face you. "I'm sorry, Sam. I wanted to tell you; I really did. But I was scared you'd be angry about me lying to you. And even if I wasn't, they would kick me out."

You lean back in the chair. "God, Chris, I'm so confused. How did this happen? How big is this?"

"I'm sorry, I don't know too much. I'm not that high up in the Society," Chris admits. "Although, I do know we're pretty big. There's Factions in Europe, Japan, Austrailia...I think there's even a research post in Antartica."

She puts a hand on your mouth before you can ask another question. "Look, I know you have a lot of questions, but there's a reason you're here. You asked to help find this stalker, and you can. For the first time in history, the Harem Society is willing to induct their Beloved into its ranks."

Chris steps back from you to rip the tape off Nebula's mouth. "And that goes for you too. Most of us were against it, but you know too much to be left unsupervised."

"I can join a conspiracy?! WHOO-HOO!" Nebula shouts and kick her legs excitedly.

"Wait, you're happy about this?" You ask. "I thought you wanted to expose this kind of stuff!"

"No, I want to learn more them and get more facts!" Nebula admits. "I don't care if other people know about it! I only want people who know more than me to tell me about it!"

"You tell me about this stuff all the time!" You argue.

"Of course I do! Why wouldn't I want my friend to be in the loop?"

"I...you consider me a friend?"

Chris slaps the tape back before Nebula can answer. "Look, Sam, we're on a time crunch here. I'm here to officially induct you into a Division from the Harem Society. Once we go through the process, you can help us find this stalker."

She holds out a list of Division names for you to look at. You recognize a Science Division headed by Tammy, a Propaganda Division headed by Brittany, a Distraction Division headed by Zoe, and a Protection Division headed by Chris herself.

"What this 'X' next to Nurturing?" You ask.

"She's pretty high up in the Council," Chris answers.

You look at the list and think about which one you want to join.
