She Will Not Stay and another goodbye.

Pepper looked into Silvan's eyes, a little sadly and gave her answer.

"I'm sorry, but being an adventurer is my dream. I promise I'll come back and do this again though."

Silvan nodded in understanding and gave her a cut of the evening's earnings. The girls cleaned up and then said their goodbyes to Pepper who was leaving early the next morning. After Pepper left, Silvan and the others cleaned the brothel so they could sleep in the next morning.

Silvan woke up with Tila in his arms. It wasn't surprising, since she had started staying with him every chance she got. Silvan woke up the little cat girl and they went down stairs to find Mona cooking breakfast. The other girls were sitting around the table talking cheerfully, but they said hello when they saw Silvan.

"Thanks for covering for me Tila," said Mona to the smaller girl. Tila purred and stole some of the bacon that was ready in way of acknowledging her. Silvan and Tila took their seats and soon everyone was eating. Mona filled Silvan in that Pepper and Reikan had already left. Pepper's parents had been by to complain, but Winona had sent them away. Breakfast was a fun affair for the group as they chatted about their clients and their hopes for the nights to come. Silvan listened to them talk and found himself quite happy with his life. He was reflecting on how things could possibly be better when Andreas and Winona came up the stairs. They both took seats and joined in with breakfast until Andreas looked over at Silvan.

"I'd love to stay for a while longer, but I've received a letter from my publisher. I need to go back and fill him in one the things I've been working on. I've still got to do some translating with those scrolls too, so I will be gone for a while."

"It will be a shame to see leave my friend. We'll keep a light in the window for you whenever you're ready to come back."

At this point, Winona slipped a hand under the table and rubbed Andreas' crotch. "And I'll be waiting too."

Andreas blushed and was about to say something until Lady Clair winked at him and agreed that she would be waiting too. The table burst into laughter at the look on their friend's face. Breakfast continued with fun until Winona had to leave to start getting the tavern ready. Andreas followed so he could make ready to leave, and the girls did their last checks around the brothel while Silvan went to check on the renovations. It was hours later and he was seeing to the goat farm when Winona came up to him looking troubled.

"He gone already?"

"Yeah. Hey Silvan, do you remember what I said about Julian?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I heard from some of the caravaners that the succubus he went after was spotted closer to town. I know its a lot to ask...."

"You want me to either take it out or recruit it, right?"

Winona nodded and Silvan gave a dramatic sigh. "Oh the tortures of being the law. I'll check it out in the morning. And hey, he will be back soon."

"I know... And thanks, Master."

Winona left him to finish overseeing the work as he made plans for succubus hunting.
