She Asks her out?

Ah what a performance. This was exactly what I needed after that whole incident with Copy Cat. It was honestly a little weird. I was expecting there to be a big news story about how the police had captured the “Thief Amethyst” but I hadn’t heard anything about that. It was almost as though people had forgotten that I had supposedly gone bad. Not that I was complaining. Lord knows I didn’t need to the police coming after me in addition to all the criminals who want me dead.

Once the performance was over I returned to my dressing room to relax a bit before heading home. Upon entering, I found my room filled with all kinds of flowers. Obviously from admires who came to see the show unaware of the fact that I was also a huge comic book nerd. However, there were two where a bit bigger than the others. One was from my mother, of course. She always sent me flowers for my performances since she was never able to show up. The other was a much bigger bouquet with flowers that appeared to have been made by Rose. That honestly made me a little uncomfortable considering what I had gone through in her lair but it was a popular flower shop so I thought nothing of it. It came with a card. “For you” was all it said.

Suddenly there was a knock on my door. “Come in, I said.” As soon as the door opened, my heart stopped. Standing before me was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. Though she was intimidating considering she was 7 ft tall and clearly well belt, she had a stunning figure, gorgeous jet black hair and the most beautiful royal blue eyes I had ever seen. This was all highlighted by her outfit that made her look like royalty. As I stood there in shock, the woman spoke. “Hmmm. Like what you see honey?” This snapped me out of my stupor. “Uh...sorry...your just….uh…..HI!!! I’m uh….” She smiled at me “Amy Alice. Yes I know. I saw your show. I just wanted to say, you are a wonderful dancer my dear. Such grace, such beauty. I just had to meet you.” Oh great, now I was blushing like mad. Did this woman just say I was beautiful? “uh….I….I’m sorry…..who are you?” She walked over to me. Her dress swaying gracefully as she did. “My apologies. Elizabeth Sapphire, CEO of Royal Global.” She said as she extended her hand. I took it nervously. Royal Global? She basically was royalty. They owned just about everything in the city. “I was actually wondering. How would you like to join me for a magic show next week? I’ve got box seats to the Madam Gold Show and I would love for you to join me. Maybe we could get some dinner before hand.” I was in utter shock……..complete and utter shock. “Um…..I’m sorry…...did you just……” “Yes sweetheart, I did in fact just ask you out on a date.” She then took another step forward, placed a gentle hand on my cheek. This sent a slight jolt through my body. “I’ll see you next Friday at 5.” She then pecked me on the cheek and then walked out of the room…..I had to sit down.
