She’s all shopped out

“Anything else we need to get you Flis?” he asks as they stroll from the shop, her new acquisitions safely in the bags he is carrying. She gives a small shake of her head as she looks his way. “Sure?” he enquires one more time, as if to give her the option to change her mind.

“Nope, I think you’ve already bought me way too much” she tells him, and she hopes she says it in a way that will make her sound certain.

“In that case, we should be getting you back home shouldn’t we.” She feels a little disappointment in his suggestion, sounding as it does to suggest their time together today is coming to an end.

“There’s no rush.” She hopes she doesn’t sound too **** to stay with him, but he gives no indication of whether it has changed his mind as they make their way slowly back to the car park. After dropping the bags into the back of t he car, he opens her car door for her, giving her his hand as she lowers herself into the seat.

“Ok then” he begins as he jumps in beside her, and pulls the car out of the parking space, heading towards the exits.
