She's underwhelmed

Silvia takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and steps through the gate. When she opens them she sees... more cave.

"Oh..." She says disappointedly.

"What's wrong mistress?" Pooky asks as she take's Silvia's hand and gently squeezes it.

"It's just... I thought the surface world would look a little... nicer," Silvia says with a disappointed sigh.

Pooky fights back a giggle at the younger elf's ignorance. "Um... mistress... we're still underground. We're still dozens of yards down from the mouth of this cave. That's the actual entrance to the surface world.

"O-oh!" Silvia blushes, feeling incredibly embarrassed by her own naivety. "Of course! I knew that!" She had always been told she was too wimpy to ever have a chance of going to the surface, so she'd never been allowed to formally learn about it growing up, or to ever go as part of any of the house's raiding parties. "Well come, on, let's get going!"

"As you wish, Mistress." Pooky says as she rolls her eyes (outside of Silvia's view of course) and follows after her, as she starts to feel the first real twinges of regret at having agreed to follow this younger elf and leave behind her old life.

The two trudge along in silence, Silvia staying several steps ahead of her slave to avoid having to make eye contact.

STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

Silvia thinks to herself as she blows the incident out of proportion, letting it eat away at her and distract her until a bright, blinding light gets her attention.
