Adventure awaits!

Silvia and Pooky make there way up a long, winding set of stairs leading towards the Great Gate, the primary entrance to and from the Underdark.

(Every great house built a secret passage leading from their own stronghold to the gate. That way, their rivals couldn't track their operations.)

It's a long climb, and tiring, especially for poor Pooky, who is being forced to carry their bags (Silvia decided to swipe a bunch more of Pooky's stuff when the ex-matron wasn't looking, and told her they were just 'supplies').

"Are... we... there yet?" Wheezes the out-of-shape slave.

"Almost," Silvia says, she's feeling a little tired too.

After another fifteen minutes of climbing up the stairs they finally reach the door.

"FINALLY!" Pooky gasps in exhaustion as she flops her flabby butt down to rest and catch her breath, not caring in the slightest that she's sitting with her legs spread wide.

Silvia looks the structure over. She'd heard stories about it, but this was her first time seeing it, and honestly, it wasn't quite what she was expecting.

For starters, there was a giant glowing "EXIT" sign hanging above it, and for something called 'The Great Gate,' it was surprising small, maybe 10 feet tall and 5 feet wide.

"This is it?" Silvia asks, not really believing it's the gate.

"Yep," Pooky says as she rubs her tender feet. "It's as grand as I remember! And to think, nothing's change at all in all this time! Well except for that 'EXIT' sign. The construction guilds are really adamant about safety signage. They said we needed to have it to be 'Ocean' compliant, or something. Made all the houses pay for it, but I think it was all just a scam."

"Huh..." Silvia says, feeling a little disappointed. "Well, uh I guess we should get going..."

Pooky whimpers at having to get back up but quickly complies, as the two push open the door just enough to slip through.
