How does Savannah react?
She's overjoyed to seeing you again
Savannah's joy and happiness to seeing you almost broke your heart, especially when it was revealed that the real reason Nicollete was moving hadn't been made apparent to her. You sat up in bed as she approached and after making sure that you were okay, proceeded to talk to you about her days, what it was like to be alive again at such a young age, and then making sure that you were listening to the doctors, taking care of yourself, and following the instructions that you were given. All the type of worrying that your dad, as Paul, did now sounded strange coming from a 14 year-old girl's mouth but you just smiled and nodded.
"Mom's saying that we're going to visit her parents out east, probably for a few weeks, to just get things straightened out." Savannah looked away and didn't see the exchange between the two of you, but you nodded and looked back at her. "It's kinda weird to think about having a new family...but that's something that'll be fun to get used to."
After about 10 minutes, Nicollete and Savannah took their leave, your last view of your father being him giving you another warm hug and saying "we'll see each other again, we're still family, you hear me?" Nicollete couldn't bring herself to stay after that and you just watched them leave the room. As soon as they left the floor, the charge nurse, Nurse Juanita, stepped back in and pretended to be busy as the tears started coming down your face.
"Sorry, don't mean to..." you began, trying to wipe the tears from your eyes but the woman just tutted you and said nothing, allowing her silent presence to serve as a support as you wept for the first time since wakening in the hospital.

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
