"If your husband isn't satisfying you, then maybe we can find a therapeutic sex technique that doesn't involve your husband," Dr. Stone said. "Sexuality is more than just sexual congress with your lawfully wedded mate, after all."

Sue Storm made a face.

"If you're suggesting infidelity—" the heroine said.

"I was thinking more self-bondage," Dr. Stone said. "Or erotic roleplaying games. Sex machines. There are a lot of ways to achieve a satisfying sex life that don't involve cheating."

"Oh," Sue said, and blinked rapidly as she recalibrated. Dr. Stone smiled wider.

"You haven't explored much of sexuality outside of having basic sex with your husband," the psychiatrist said. It wasn't a question. "Probably mostly in the missionary position, with the intent to have children; rarely for purely recreational purposes, with minimal oral or digital sex. I'll bet you barely use your powers at all. So what I'm proposing is a structured exploration of alternative options. Sessions where we discuss various sexual paraphilia and techniques until we find some that work for you. Proceeding at your own pace, of course."

Sue Storm nodded, slowly. She wasn't sure she was completely comfortable with the way the conversation had gone, but it was a relief that she wasn't being asked to betray her husband. After all, what Dr. Stone was discussing simple amounted to masturbation, possibly with aids. There was nothing wrong with that. Sue had a few "marital aids" tucked away in her closet, for occasional and discreet use, although it had been a while.

"Alright," Sue said, and wiped her palms on her thighs. "As long as we go slow. I'm not sure exactly what I'll be open to trying. But there's no harm in knowing the options, right?"

"Exactly. And there will be options that you aren't interested in, or aren't ready for. I'm not trying to push you into anything," Dr. Stone lied smoothly. "But I will be giving you little homework assignments. Just to try certain things on your own, you understand."

Sue nodded. She took a deep breath and let it out.

"Alright," Sue said. "So where do we start?"
