Setup for a housewarming party.

Robin saunters in slowly, sleepily, half-dressed. "What happened to you? It looks like you got hit by a truck. What happened with Madelon last night?"

"A group of three men planned to **** Madelon and the girl she was with. I tried to remove the girls from the situation was assaulted instead, but the cops were underway. They were arrested. The girl is staying here until she finds a new place to stay. Her old roommates found out she was a lesbian and kicked her out. Polish girl, so going home isn't a real option."

"You sure she is safe? And another person in the house, really?"

"Is anyone ever safe? But no, I have no idea about whether she can be trusted, but she got a LifeQuest referral from Madelon through a quest. I have no idea what the case will be. We might demand that she give one of the three of us the questmaking permission. And yes, I picked up another stray. I have been helped out by people like me so often, paying it forward, you know." That last bit gets me a shrug and a hint of an eyeroll.

"That is a good plan. A really good plan. It would create safety by quest. Can't she just remove the quest herself?"

"Yeah, but we have a line to the QuestMaster to maybe push harder." As we are having this conversation, the two girls return.

"Hello, you must be Pieter's partner, Robin, right?" Estera says first.

"Yes, nice to meet you, and who might you be?" Robin almost demands a response from Estera.

"Ohh yes, I am a friend of Madelon. My name is Estera Daniel, as Pieter might have said, I am a lesbian who was kicked out of her old house." Estera responds to Robin's question.

"Does your landlord know you were kicked out and feel not safe?" I ask. Estera looks at me as if I said a dumb thing. "If they don't know you moved out, be it by ****, be it by choice, be it by ****, they will charge you for a room you aren't using." The coin falls, and she understands what I say. She walks away to call her landlord. "After breakfast, we will all pack into the car, and we will go to Ikea. We will pick up an extra bed for her, as well as a few other things like a coffee table and chairs, so we have 6. I might drive with a trailer for once or twice. Maybe even a couch." I inform everyone. We begin to eat the breakfast I had prepared.

We buy what I planned on a few chachkies here and there. Robin and I excuse ourselves to get an upgrade for our bed. A sturdy, decent bed with a good mattress. It should be delivered in a month. We go home, where the three of them assemble the new pieces of furniture. I return the trailer to Ikea as they assemble the pieces. I get snacks and drinks for the housewarming party on my way back. Placing all of them inside, I find everything assembled.

Afterwards, we dress ourselves for the visitors in the afternoon. I do a small bit of a dance with Robin as the woman. They smile softly as we do. Madelon asks Robin if they want to wear some makeup. This will complete the quest. I might make a new one after dinner at this course. Estera has no other clothes than those she wore yesterday, but that can be fixed over time. Robin is wearing a sleeveless top with skinny jeans, and Madelon is wearing the same outfit but in a different colour. I am wearing an old shirt I made with a flower pattern and jeans. Nothing to custom about any of our outfits. But the stage for the housewarming party is set. All of us dressed up, drinks in the fridge, snacks ready to grab and a bed for all of the residents.
