Settling In

It's been a little over a week since my interview with Miss. Baines and I've settled into the freshman dorms of The Academy. My roommate Mia is a small girl about five foot one with short jet black hair and gorgeous deep brown eyes. She looks so adorable wearing her large framed round eyeglasses. She grew up in the mountain town of Cylis about five hours by train outside Sythal. Well five hours after you trek down the mountain which takes another hour and a half down winding dirt paths by donkey cart.

Over the last few days the other freshman have been filing in and moving into dorm rooms. There are two dorm buildings on campus, one for female students and one for male students. Our building, Greenhouse Hall holds thirty students. Two girls per dorm room. Our dorm matron is a middle aged cherubic redheaded woman named Winnie Saunders. She's strict with some rules like no boys in the building after six o'clock in the evening and very lenient about others. For instance she pays no mind to the no nudity outside the dorm rooms in the hallways rule. She notices it mind you, she just does nothing about it because she in her own words " doesn't mind having a look" as we walk around naked. All in all she seems to be a good sort. She also has so far looked the other way about the liquor distillery two of the girls, Naomi and Ginger are running in their room on the first floor.

So far the girls who have arrived are the aforementioned Naomi and Ginger. Naomi being a blonde like myself but with much bigger jugs, who am I kidding her boobs are huge. She must get her bras special made. Ginger on the other hand is a petite brunette with small pert breasts and long waivey hair. I've had some of their Apple Pie Moonshine and I got blitzed real quick. The only thing I remember is waking up the next morning with a splitting headache and according to Mia I got so wasted that I streaked around campus. Luckily I didn't get into any trouble this time or step on any " booby traps" left by the arch mage's dog.

Right next door to Mia and I is Lindsey Patrice who so far doesn't have a roommate. She has light brown hair and blue eyes. We don't really know anything about her since she seems to be very shy and bookish in fact she spends most of her time at the library.

Across the hall is Dinah Mathers. She's a tough little carrot top from King's Port. A coastal sea port city eight hours to the south of here.

That's some of the girls who have arrived so far. Besides Mia I really don't know much about them yet but I hope to soon. Maybe we can have a little get together downstairs in the common room in the next few days so we can get acquainted.

Well Mia and I are off to the practice center so we can work on some of our elemental spells. See ya later!
