Chapter 29 by CamBlay

Setting off

Jennifer had never expected to be so relieved by the sight of Kurt striding towards her, practically arm-in-arm with Victoria while Brandon skulked to the side. She rarely got time on her own in the woods, but even rarer was time to masturbate, and those ten minutes on her own after seeing Chloe and Shawn had offered nothing but time to contemplate doing so.

"Hello again," Kurt called jovially, his demeanour the same as always, bringing to mind the ruthless way he would tease her about not getting any. She scowled inwardly; he was a frustrating boy to be around, but maybe he wouldn't get under her skin so much if he wasn't so accurate.

She rose. "Got the keys Johnson?"

He lifted his arm, jingling them. "Right here miss." He stepped past her, fumbling with the keys briefly before finding the right one. The key slid smoothly into the lock, turning easily and opening the door with a soft click. It swung open, Kurt stepping back to allow Jennifer entrance with exaggerated politeness.

She scowled at him. "Thank you. Would you be so kind as to accompany me?" She kicked herself inwardly; his affected airs had a way of making her imitate them.

He grinned a little wider. "Sure, if you need me." He turned to Vicky and Brandon. "Will you two be okay getting back to the cabin?"

Vicky nodded. "Yeah, it's just up the hill isn't it?" She looked in that direction, craning her neck as if hoping to see it through the trees.

"That's right," Jennifer confirmed, starting into the boathouse.

"See you in a bit," Kurt said gently to Victoria as he followed Jennifer into the dimly lit wooden building. She smiled reassuringly back at him, before turning and starting up the hill with the deathly silent Brandon.

"Is everything alright with him?" Jennifer asked Kurt quietly when she deemed the two retreating backs far enough away.

Kurt nodded. "Yeah, he's just a big dumb jock."

5 minutes later they were off, Robert Ravers' speedboat cutting through the water like a hot knife through butter.

"I was wondering," Kurt yelled from the prow over the roar of the engine. "How did that Shawn guy end up a ranger?"

"I'm sure you're familiar with the concept of sending children here over summer to keep them out of trouble," Jennifer quipped, relishing every sardonic remark she could hit him with.

He made a face at her. "When you're 14. He must be what, 20?"

"He's in a lot of trouble," Jennifer replied, a scowl creeping over her face. "His mother found some kind of **** in his room."

Kurt whistled, the high-pitched sound inaudible over the engine. "Bad boy huh? You don't seem to like him very much."

"I don't," Jennifer said simply. "He's a creep."

"A creep you trust to look after Ashley and Chloe?" Kurt raised an eyebrow.

Her expression darkened. "What could he do?"

Kurt shrugged in response, the two lapsing into silence as the island drew nearer. Jennifer bit her lip apprehensively; the pale mass of bodies, performing the same lewd action she had seen through the binoculars, was just about identifiable in the shade of the tree that formed its only obvious landmark. She shuddered at the awkwardness of it all: three naked teenagers embarrassed at being found furiously copulating, the blush that would no doubt flood her cheeks as she ordered them onto the boat, the saucy ribbing Kurt would give his cousin. Why did that girl have to be so shameless?

She glanced nervously at Kurt, stood at the prow, eyes firmly fixed ahead. She had barely finished wondering when they would be close enough for him to identify what was happening when an excited spark lit in his eyes and a wolfish grin split his face.

"Well well well squirt," he smirked, his total lack of embarrassment making Jennifer blush. Why did she end up spending so much time with horny teens?

"You see that?" Kurt turned to her, his expression unbearably gleeful.

She couldn't look at him. "Yes I see it."

Kurt only chuckled in response.
