Session 7: Grim Breaks the News and Finding the Cult!

Violet was feeling good about life right about now. She was sandwiched in between two naked handsome men and was on the start of a bonafide adventure. Nothing was going to get her down.

That was until she was woken up by the sound of a party favor being popped, “Congratulations!” and was that a trumpet?!

Violet slowly opened her eyes, and was only half surprised to see Grim floating in the tent. “Go away, it’s too early for this.”

“Oh! But I’m here to congratulate you Violet! And your friends as well! You couldn’t have done it without them.”

That was when Violet noticed that Ken and Lou had also woken up, apparently able to see and hear Grim. “Ggggg…. Ghhhooost!” “Ah!” “Bro, do you see this!?” “Bro, I do!”

Great, just great! Now she had to deal with THIS! “Oh will you both calm down! You don’t freak out every time I bring out Feu do you!? Besides, that’s just Grim. He’s, well I wouldn't say completely harmless. But mostly. Wait, you can see him!? Why can they see you!?”

Circling the three lovers, Grim ignores Violet’s questions. “I have to say Violet, you met and exceeded my expectations. But…” He disappears, “I supposed I can’t blame you.” He then reappears behind you, grabbing onto Ken & Lou’s shoulders in a friendly manner. “Just look at these hunks of meat! I have to say you put on a great show yesterday, and this morning.”

“Wait, you've been watching us?” “Did you like it?” “Bro!?” “What?”

Ignoring their ramblings, Violet once again asks Grim. “What do you want, Grim?”

“Oh, like I said. I wanted to congratulate you. All of you.”

“For what?” If this was just his weird way of saying he enjoyed the show, Violet was about five seconds away from Hexing Grim into a tree.

“Why, on being parents of course.” It took a moment for Violet to process Grim’s words. “I expect your children to be beautiful. After all, look at their parents!?” To her credit she didn’t faint, or panic.

The same couldn’t be said of her lovers. “Bro?!” “I can’t be a father!” “Shit! I knew I should have pulled out!” “What will Master say!” “Bro!?” “Bro!?”

“Will you both shut up!” The twins stopped panicking long enough to look at the woman in between them. “I’m the one who has to deal with this!” How she had no idea, but she would manage.

The Twins gave each other a look, then almost as if they had telepathy they nodded and turned their gaze to Violet. “You can count on us!” “We won’t abandon you!” “We’re not scumbags!” “You aren’t alone!”

Well, that was a quick turn around. “I’m… touched…” Stunned was more like it, but Violet supposed she had better count her blessings. Two idiot fathers was probably better than no father. “Look, let’s just get dressed. Ok? Besides.” Violet stares at Grim with a look that would kill him if he weren’t already a ghost. “There is a good chance Grim is just messing with us.”

“Oh, Violet. When have I ever lied to you?” Never that she could think of. “But, I suppose I shall let you be on your way. I know you have places to be, doomsday cults to stop, that sort of thing. Make sure to not skip breakfast though. After all…” Grim then starts to fade out until the humans can barely hear him. “You are eating for three now…”

"Don't you mean eating for two?" Grim doesn't answer, instead all Violet hears his laughter which slowly fades away. “Well shit!”

Packing up the camp didn’t take long. It would have gone faster, except Ken & Lou (she needed to find a way to tell them apart) kept approaching her to make sure she didn’t need anything. They really were sweet. Dumb as rocks, but sweet. But Violet didn’t start fucking them because they were smart. She fucked them because they were over six foot tall and carved like marble statues.

Still, Violet would be lying if she wasn’t enjoying the attention. “Guys, I’m not made of glass.” Even if it was starting to get annoying. “You can stop circling the wagons.”

The two men and their Pokémon had formed a protective perimeter around Violet, with Ken and his Hitmonlee in front while Lou and his Hitmonchan followed behind her. Ken glances over his shoulder at her. “Don’t you worry about it Violet.”

Lou then speaks up behind her. “Me and Bro are synchronized.”

“Yeah, synchronized.”

“Like swimmers.”

Sighing, Violet drops the topic for now. But if they were going to be like this, she supposed she might as well play support. Besides, she had spent all of that money Tutoring Jem. It would be a shame to not let the girl stretch her legs. Releasing the Pokémon, the Jigglypuff gives Violet an angry look. “Oh, don’t be like that.” She pets the angry pink ball on the head. “I’m counting on you today.”

When Violet left Saffron City, she had expected to have to walk all the way to Celadon, run around the city for a few days looking for a lead, perhaps even make multiple passes through Route 5 looking for clues on where to find Team Gravity.

What she had NOT expected was to find two of them out in the open while setting up a festival.

“Welcome friends! Welcome! Tell me, are you here for the festival?”

“No, no I’m not…” Seriously, they were just in the middle of the road.

“Oh, but you must join us!”

“Is it some kind of party?” “Bro, sounds fun.”

“Boys, a moment!” Turning to the strangely dressed cultists, Violet grabs the twins and pulls them to the side. Once she thinks they are out of earshot she asks them. “Do either of you remember anything I told you yesterday?”

Blank stares. “Ummm” “You wanted to get to Celadon?”

“Ok, do you remember why?” She hoped her baby won’t be this dumb. The two men look at her with blank stares. “Look, just be quiet and don’t say...” She was about to say don’t say anything stupid, but thought better of it. “Just don’t say anything.”

“Sure, sure.” “Whatever you say, Violet.”

“Good.” Turning back to the cultist, Violet tries to put on a friendly smile. “So, this festival. What is it for?”

“Why, it is all explained here dear sister!” The Cultist hands her a paper brochure of all things. “But if you really want to know, why don’t you join us.”

Looking the thing over, Violet takes a quick glance at it. “Huh, the symbol matches.”

“Matches what?” The cultist was giving Violet a strange look now, his friendly expression gone.

Fuck, Violet was so worried about one of the Twins saying something dumb, she never considered that she would let something slip. “Ummm… Nothing…?” Shit! She takes a few steps back, thankful that Ken and Lou were already close behind her. “I’ll just be going now…”

The Cultist has now been joined by his companion. “Oh, but you must stay.” He releases an Impidimp who grins at Violet creepily.

“Yes, stay.” The second cultist releases an Inkay.

“She said no.” “Yeah, listen to the lady.”

For a few seconds everyone simply stood there in a standoff, waiting for the first move. The first Cultist calls out “Fake Tears!”

But before the Impidimp could act, Ken and Lou cried out “Bullet Punch” and “Sucker Punch!” Moving with impressive speed as they attacked the two Pokémon in front of them.

Trying to keep the momentum (and show the boys that she wasn’t dead weight) Violet tells Jem to use “Disarming Voice”. The cut angry pink ball of then opens its mouth wide and screams, making the Impidimp flinch in pain.

The other cultist cries out “Superpower!” and the small squid like Pokémon slams into Jem, sending her flying into the sky.

Ken and Lou again order their Pokémon to use “Bullet Punch” and “Sucker Punch!” and she sees the Impidimp faint. Violet orders Jem to use “Disarming Voice!” again and the little goblin faints.

Lou once more tells his Hitmonchan to use “Bullet Punch” but when it jumps back it gets behind the Hitmonlee whom Ken and tells his Hitmonlee to use “Wide Guard”.

But before the Inkay has a chance to attack, Violet tells her Jigglypuff to use “Disarming Voice” once more. The angry ball of pink screams and the Inkay faints, and falls to the ground. Seeing that the battle is over, Violet quickly tells her Baby Daddies to “Grab them!” while pointing to the two cult members.

It doesn’t take long, Ken & Lou are big, strong, and used to getting physical. Within seconds both of the Team Gravity Cultists were tied up and disarmed of their Pokémon Balls. “So, Violet…” “What now?”

Violet honestly wasn’t sure, she hadn’t thought she would actually find Team Gravity, let alone capture one, this quickly. So she said the first thing that came to mind. “We’ll take them back to Saffron.” Brian did say that he would pay for more info, she could pass them off to him.

“All right” “Whatever you say.” The two Martial artists then each grabbed one of the cultists, and threw them over a shoulder.

Well, that was surprisingly easy. Now she just had to get back to Saffron city, that shouldn’t take too long. As long as they didn’t run into any delays.

Rattatas, why is it always Rattatas? “Keep an eye on our guests, I’ve got this.” Violet can tell that the boys want to argue, but there wasn’t much they could do with their arms occupied. Besides, it was just one Rattata. How much trouble could it be?

Remembering how much trouble the LAST Rattata was, Violet decides to use her Cubone. “You got this Charles!” She didn’t feel like having her clothes burned off, AGAIN! “Bone Rush!” The Rattata is fast, very fast, and manages to hit Charles with a Quick Attack. But Charles manages to hit the wild Pokémon, HARD, and scares off the wild Pokémon.

For a moment Violet considers catching the wild Pokémon, but she simply doesn’t see the point. She doesn’t want a Rattata. Still, it wasn’t a total waste of time. It seems that the Rattata had been digging something up. Something which turned out to be a Poison Heal. “Sweet.” Free stuff was always good.

Thankfully their little group did not run into any other trouble and Violet soon saw the gatehouse marking the border between Saffron City and Route 5. The guard looks bored and half awake, but when he sees Violet, her two lovers, and the Cultists he quickly snaps awake, a look of confusion on his face. “Ok, what is going on and why are they tied up?”

“These two gentlemen, “Violet gestures to the two Team Gravity members while her Boytoys toss them onto the ground. “Are members of Team Gravity.”

“Team who now?” The guard looks at Violet, Ken and Lou, and the two tied up team members.

“Gravity. Look, I’ve been hired to track them down. If you give me a few minutes so I can make a phone call.” Violet was just now realizing how crazy her situation looked. She technically hadn’t caught these two specifically doing anything illegal. Granted they had attacked her, so she could at least claim self defense.

“Right… I’ll call it in. But I’m going to have to get a statement from you.”

“Fine…” This was NOT how Violet expected her adventure to go. If she had wanted to stand around and fill out paperwork she would have stayed in Lavender Town.

Author & Game Notes

Fate Chaos Factor adjustment: Was Violet in control? I didn’t invoke UNLUCKY at all, no major Attribute check failures. But she did get double penetrated, lose two Pokémon Battles, and get knocked up! So Chaos+1 to 7.

Violet starts out asleep, sandwiched in between Ken & Lou. Do they get woken up by Grim? Fate[Chaos7]Maybe: 75, YES! Does Grim know that Violet is pregnant? Fate[Chaos7]Sure: 99 Yes, AND he tells all three of them that YOU are the Father! Twins fathering Twins! Why? Because I think it is funny that’s why!

Do Ken & Lou take the news well? Fate[Chaos7] Maybe: 46 No, BUT they are NOT the kind of person to abandon their new Baby Momma & Girl Friend, even if they freak out a bit.

Route 5 is one of the shortest Routes in Kanto, But Violet also wants to search for clues about Team Gravity.
