Servant's Common Room

Not for the first time James and Sammy question exactly how random these tiles actually are as he places it next to the only door by the maid's chambers. The Servant's Common Room tile bears a trophy similar to the back of the rewards deck. James draws the corresponding card and reads out its simple text.

Sammy : "Oh, dress up, that's an odd reward. I wonder what that means?"

She says before noticing that James has gone sheet white holding the card.

James : "I don't want to go on, lets just wait here for the others to find us."

Samantha : ""Huh? Why?"

James is speechless. It's clear that whatever the reason is, it's a closely held secret. Sammy can't help but speculate. She doesn't know this boy very well. He's obviously a close friend of Alexis and stuck with her through her changes. He wasn't as masculine as Alexis's other two friends. More of the kind of cute nerd you have to coax out of reclusiveness. Kind of like Sammy had been when he was still Sam-

And then what the problem might have been clicked into place. No, surely it's something else, what were the odds that Alexis's best friend was also a sissy?

James seems to whither away from the long stare Sammy has subjected him to. He feels like she was peering into his soul.

James : "So... how do you know Alex- I mean Alexis?"

He says if only to break the silence. Sammy sees this as an opportunity to investigate if her hunch is right.

Samantha : "Oh, we only met recently at the gym, turns out we have a lot in common. What do you think about his transformation by the way? You didn't seem as surprised as the other two. Have you ever thought about it before?"

James sputtered in response. The way she just directly asked that, could she know? His thoughts were spiraling out of control when Jeeves saved... or maybe doomed him.

Jeeves : "I hate to interrupt this fascinating conversation but refusing to go through a door isn't really an option. If the house thinks you're stalling the next door will open anyways and a penalty will be drawn for you."

James : "A penalty?"

James didn't like the sound of that.

Jeeves : "Correct."

His nonplussed attitude was starting to get on James's nerve. It made a mockery of the genuine turmoil he was feeling.

Samantha : "It's ok if it's a little embarrassing James, I promise you I won't laugh."

James gulped and approached the door.
