Serious talk (kinda)

You, your six lovers, and your two canine friends make your way towards the central plaza of the Capital city. Sitting close to the large fountain in the middle of the area, enjoying the calming sounds of water running down. You certainly have a couple of subjects to talk about...

"Hear me out a minute, everyone..." Agis clears her throat, drawing the attention toward her. "We all agree about returning to the town, right? Any objections?" She asks, green eyes moving from person to person, nobody says a thing.

"Okay... good!" The elf brightly smiles, long ears perking up. "Of course, we can return here to visit whenever we want... But it will be amazing to have an actual home again. A place where all of us can live in peace..."

"Hehe. Yer eyes are sparklin' a bit, pointy ears. Ya look happy, that's adorable." Rhea teases.

"H-huh?" Agis embarrassedly gasps, quickly trying to **** her usual stoic back expression onto her face... failing miserably, not being able to hide the cheery little smile on her lips.

"Yeah, they kinda are." Maggie simply states as she finishes her bag of candies, tilting her head to the side in slight confusion as she looks at the tough elf's face. "Weird."

Agis sighs, finally yielding. "...Know what? Yes, they are indeed sparkling!" She exclaims, happily showing off her gorgeous smile and big emerald eyes. "I'm really excited!"

"That's the spirit, Ag!" Kara giggles, scratching Rocko and Ollie's heads as they comfortably rest over her warm lap.

"We certainly deserve some peace..." You talk, gently resting your hand over the elf's.

"Spending all the time we want in bed... Having warm coffee in the afternoons... Not having to worry about a thing in the world..." Agis fantasizes, caressing your fingers with her own. "I bought some seeds, you know? We could grow some vegetables, start a little farm..."

"I don't know the first thing about farming." You laugh.

The elf laughs along with you. "Me neither! But we can learn."

"Look at that, I never imagined you as a farm girl, Agis." Lola devilishly smirks. "Gods, you would certainly look cute with a straw hat and some tiny denim shorts..."

More giddy laughter forms in the group. Ag contently breathes a deep sigh of satisfaction and rests her head over your shoulder, closing her eyes.

"U-uhm... Oh gods, I'm so sorry for ruining the moment, but..." Mathilda sheepishly starts pouting, fiddling with her fingers while she speaks, looking towards both of her sides and making her voice quieter so no bystander can hear her next words. "The demon. Delilah. We should make a final decision before we leave..."

The laughing suddenly transforms into an awkward silence, the girls look at each other.

"The demon hunter headquarters are on the Capital." Agis quickly puts you into situation. "Since we arrived here, we've been... wondering if we should actually talk with them or not."

Kara softly shakes her head. "That group doesn't have a good reputation, my king..." She talks, rubbing the wolves' pink tummies in circles while they snooze.

"What do you mean?" You raise an eyebrow.

"That if we tell 'em what happened, they would never leave us alone again. We would have 'em on our arses all our damn life." Rhea bluntly grunts. "It's some 'the end justifies the means' kinda shite. They don't care if they screw people over, they only care about chasin' demons."

"And..." Lola whimpers. "If they somehow find out that I am a... well, you know... I dread to think about what they would want to do to me."

"Well, we shouldn't tell them, then." You frown. "We don't need that sort of trouble."

Mathilda looks down at her feet, idly rubbing the tip of her boot against the floor. "Uh-huh, we don't... Yet... there is a rogue, power-crazy demon free on the world. And only our group knows about it." The teen sighs. "What if she decides to come back for us?"

"Doll, that bitch thinks she killed Theo, she had her little vengeance already... and she doesn't have a use for pigtails anymore... I think she has no real reason to come back lookin' for us." Rhea explains. "It's been a feckin' month and we haven't heard of her."

"She is not our problem anymore." Maggie says in a serious tone of voice. "I want to relax too, there is a book I need to finish. This demon stuff is very annoying to deal with."

"Yeah, you are right... I guess I'm still a bit nervous..." Your little sister softly talks. "S-sorry for having brought up this topic again, everybody..."

"Hey, don't apologize for that, Mattie." You smile, resting the hand that isn't holding Agis' hand over her knee. "It's good we discussed this."

"Relax, Mat! If a small group of goofs like us were able to defeat Delilah, then she has zero chances of conquering the world or whatever she wants to do." Kara happily exclaims. Mathilda's face lightens up, covering her mouth and giggling.

"Puppy has a point there, ya know?" Rhea chuckles. "And don't ya worry, cute little doll. I'll protect ya with me life if that demon trash returns. I swear." The minotaur playfully winks her eye at the teenager. Mattie blushes, giggling harder.

"Alright. Now that this is settled..." Agis continues with a relieved smile. "We should go grab our stuff from the inn and pay for the mess we made there. Then, I think we have enough funds left to buy a pair of horses. And finally, we take a carriage back to town, we will probably arrive there by mid afternoon if we start moving now..."
