Send a messenger over asking Isabelle's father to come visit her here

You send a messenger to Isabelle's village, and settle down to await the reply.

Five days later, Isabelle's father and his retinue, escorted very watchfully by your village's guards, meet you, Isabelle and Miranda in the town square.

"So, daughter," he asks, "how are you being treated?"

Isabelle smiles. "Like a princess. The orc I am mated to risked his life to find a witch so that Miranda and I could have our lifespan extended to match his own."

The surprised look on her father's face makes you smile. He clearly wasn't expecting that.

"Don't witches despise males?" he asks.

Miranda giggles. "Yes. That's why I was very surprised he would take such a risk for us."

"Well then," her father states as he rises, "you two and your orc mate are welcome to stay in my village any time." He and his retinue depart.
