Send Cap back, but as a Manchurian Agent

“My friends will know what you have done, and retaliate with the **** of literal gods, you madman!” Steve said angrily.

“You’re right,” Dr. Bender said, smirking. “That’s why they won’t know, until it’s too late!” He then pressed a button on his watch, and a tv monitor came down. Before Steve knew it, everything went black again.

When he came to, Captain America was surrounded by debris and fire. He tried to remember what happened, and it was slowly coming to him. He was trying to find Dr. Bender’s laboratory, and when he did the scientist... set off a self destruction sequence? That felt... familiar. But it was weird, he had a dream where he had become female for some reason, and it felt very real for some reason. It could be, though. Just couldn’t. Anyways, Steve got up, and picked up his shield and called headquarters, and told them what happened (leaving out the dream of course.)

After they confirmed they would pick him up in 20 minutes and ended the call, Steve noticed something in the distance, a briefcase. Seemed like a clue, and so he went to it and picked it up. Maybe this mission wasn’t a failure after all, he thought. After opening it, and seeing nothing but a screen that flickered and nothing else, he closed it. Maybe he’d only show his friends in the Avengers. After a minute, the helicopter picked him up, and he went to Shield headquarters. After a quick debriefing, Steve was let go, with the suitcase.

Steve felt he had had a good day, and decided to celebrate with a quick hangout with the Avengers at Avenger’s Tower. He called up Natasha, Thor, Tony, Bruce, Hawkeye, Wanda, and Rhodey, and they were all confirmed they would be there at 9. Steve was happy.
