Selena is Pregnant
Weeks passed, and one day when Selena was getting ready to sleep, she had a sudden violent sickness in her stomach. She managed to find a bucket to throw up in. She knew exactly what it meant.
She looked at the bucket, feeling weak and vulnerable. The morning sickness had arrived, and with it, a new wave of emotions washed over her. Selena was pregnant, carrying the child of her master, Dexon.
This felt like a nightmare come true, she’d wanted a child one day, but not with someone she’d been forced to have sex with. She had been sold as a sex slave, and now she was carrying her master's child. What would Dexon say? How would he react to this news?
Selena hesitantly approached Dexon's room the next day, feeling more exposed and vulnerable than ever before. She knew this was a pivotal moment in their relationship. She entered the room and presented herself before him.
"Master," she began hesitantly, "I am with child."
Dexon looked at her, his expression unreadable. Silence filled the room as he processed the news. Finally, he spoke.
“This is excellent news. We shall set sail for Octoton in the coming weeks.”
Selena’s eyebrow raised. Why would they be going to Octoton? Would he want their child to take a place in the house, or was he there to overthrow House Reyes?
Either way, Selena was shocked. After her sale at auction, she had never considered the possibility of returning home, let alone with a child. But as she saw the determination in Dexon's eyes, she realized that this was his plan all along-to use her pregnancy to gain the favour of House Reyes.
For the first time, she felt a glimmer of hope. Despite her forced servitude and unwanted pregnancy, there was a chance for her life to have meaning again. She would be a mother and a leader, respected by her people and loved by her child.
As they set sail for Octoton, Selena couldn't help but feel a surge of mixed emotions. On one hand, she was frightened about returning to her former home as a sex slave and pregnant with Dexon's child. On the other hand, she was hopeful that they would be accepted and that her child would be given a chance at a better life, maybe given a chance to one day rule House Reyes. However, the reality of her situation weighed heavily on her heart as she thought of the sacrifices she had made and the life she had lost.
