Seize the Warden's offer of a room to HAVE SEX

You can't let Golondrina slip away, not after coming so far, and not with the prospect of Master Elbegast keeping you apart by riding you hard in your lessons. Only in your lessons, to be sure. You squeeze Golondrina's warm hand in your cool one and nod to Barbara Torch. "Yes. Warden, I would be grateful to accept your hospitality."

"This way, witchlings," the Warden directs. Barbara Torch does something with her wand that you don't quite follow, and adds, "Follow the sparkles." It reminds you a little of House Beavertail's Tutor, Miss Hemstitch, who has an assistant who appears as a tiny spherical golden glow. But Torch's spell also reminds you of sparks and fireworks. It's easy to follow, through arches and around corners, though you soon lose track of where you are in the not-yet-familiar House Leontes. It even leads you across a courtyard, circles round widdershins thrice each time passing close to a magically warded wall along one side of the yard, then back inside the door where you entered. Or so you think.

Golondrina strides along beside you, head high, her hands warm enough to feel on your skin, without quite touching. It feels good just walking beside Lolo, soaking in her aura of joy along with the heat from her flesh. You and Fay had chased joy, had found it. But Golondrina radiated joy. Did no one else feel it?

You halt inside a chamber as the sparkles hover in front of a door that looks familiar, from Housemaster Firetail's office perhaps. Barbara Torch performs some sort of sign and countersign exchange with the door, expressed as glowing sigils.

"Follow closely," the Warden directs.

Through the door is not a room, really, but a garden. Not just any garden. A pleasure garden of undulating curves carpeted with soft grass, meadows verged by massed flowers and clear pools, fragrant hedges hiding shady bowers, and here and there, stone sculpted into fountans and figures frozen in place dancing or embracing.

Golondrina laughs in happy surprise. "How beautiful!"

"Welcome, scholars, to the Garden of Delights," the Warden says.

She's laid it on rather thick, Torch has, in bringing you here. This is the sort of place Boarbristle wouldn't let mere scholars enter. You can practically taste the spellwork here, thickly enchanted all over. But then Torch has used the Leontes Staff Baths and a cloud cave sanctuary, so maybe place is partly what Torch has a letch about. Secret places. Places forbidden to the ordinary sort.

"Make yourselves at home, Morgan and Golondrina. I shall."

By the time you stop woolgathering and make her words into sense, Torch has stripped off her dueling uniform and bared her rich brown skin.

Golondrina yanks her red Leontes robes over her head and drops them in a heap in the grass.
