See Ya Later Beth! [WM]

Later in the day after about a three-hour nap Lena woke up and stretched feeling refreshed and energized, a rare thing for naps to do. She suddenly remembered everything before her nap now worried she crushed Beth. Lena quickly looked in her palm where Beth was when they fell asleep and to her relief, there wasn't a crushed tiny person in her hand, instead, there was a small piece of paper. "A note from Beth?"

When Lena opened the note she nearly couldn't make out the handwriting, it was small and Beth clearly tried to make it big enough to read. It read: "Hey Lena, sorry for disappearing on ya, something urgent came up so I had to leave without saying anything. Nothing wrong I promise! Not with you or me, no worries! I had fun, come find me sometime? P.S. I slipped out from under your door so it turns out I can fit, maybe I'll stop by when your not expecting. ;p"

The note made Lena blush, smile, and wonder. Why would Beth have to leave without saying anything? She was curious as to what could have happened but she supposed it wasn't any of her business unless Beth wanted to tell her. Lena was glad Beth mentioned in the note that there was nothing wrong with herself otherwise Lena would have thought that there was. Plus, Beth had told Lena about her ability and that showed that Beth trusted her even if only a little.

Lena flopped back onto her back holding the small note to her chest smiling while thinking about the new friend she had just made, and she was something else. No wonder they were friends already Lena thought of herself as something else too. She couldn't help but worry that Beth had gotten into trouble somehow somewhere. Hopefully, she was okay.

Lena then began to drift back to sleep after all it was pretty late now, maybe she would just make her nap the beginning of a good night's sleep. As she began to drift off thoughts of school crossed her mind. Perhaps she would just take a few days off to chill and relax, that sounded just right. Just what she needed. And with that, she fell back to sleep still holding onto the little note from the little woman, Beth.
