See Sarah’s mom

We eventually made our way back to my dorm after finishing the campus tour.

Sarah dropped onto the edge of my bed and looked at the time on her phone.

“Well, before we go to bed, I guess you should probably come say hi to my mom.”

I smiled. “Yeah, I probably should.”

She laughed. “She’s been asking when she’s going to see you.”

“Then I better make a good impression.”

“You’ve already met her.”

“That was a long time ago.”

“She still likes you.”

I grabbed my jacket. “Good. Let’s go.”

We headed out of the dorm and drove the short distance to the hotel. A few minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot and walked inside.

Sarah led me to the elevator, and we went upstairs to her mom’s room.

She knocked.

A moment later, Mrs. Morgan opened the door.

Her face immediately lit up when she saw me.

“Ethan! It’s so good to see you.”

I smiled. “It’s good to see you too, Mrs. Morgan.”

She stepped aside to let us in. “Come on in. I’ve been waiting to finally see you.”

Sarah laughed as she walked past us. “I told you I’d bring him.”

Mrs. Morgan smiled at her daughter before looking back at me.

“So, how’s senior year treating you?”

We stepped farther into the room, and I settled in beside Sarah as the three of us started catching up.
