Back at the dorm

We eventually made our way back to my dorm, finishing the tour where we’d started.

Sarah looked around the hallway as we walked toward my room. “I actually really like it here. I can finally picture where you’ve been all this time.”

I smiled. “Yeah. It’s definitely different seeing it in person.”

When we got to my room, we stepped inside and sat down for a minute.

I looked over at her. “So, if you’re staying around here for a little while, what are you planning to do? Are you staying here with me?”

She smiled. “I actually came out with my mom.”

“Your mom?”

“Yeah. She wanted to come with me, so we made a little trip out of it.”

I nodded. “Where are you guys staying?”

“We got a hotel about ten minutes from campus.”

“Seriously?”

“Yeah.” She smiled. “It’s really close. I told her I wanted to spend as much time with you as I could while I’m here.”

I smiled back.

“That’s actually pretty convenient.”

“That’s what I thought.”

She leaned back and looked around my room.

“So I guess I’m not getting rid of you anytime soon.”
