As happy as Michael had felt fucking his enemy, Ruby felt twice as good fucking over hers. That was nothing less than a crushing victory. Two of my most **** girls nearly tied for first, and I was a handful of votes away from having all four of my girls on top of the standings.

But given how damaged she was in the competition, he was liable to just eliminate her and cut his losses. “I’m not gonna do that!” Danica yelled, looking at Luciana as if hoping she’d join in this rebellion.

“I think you will, girl.” Al said, “because you’ll have all the time you need to think about it.”

Al and Ruby clapped simultaneously, and all seven women went limp and slumped forward in their seats like puppets with their strings cut. Their faces were all vacant masks, somehow even more unsettling than those of the Staff. Michael jumped up to check on Ronnie first, which Ruby noticed and filed away for later.

“What the hell have you done!?” Michael said, checking Ronnie’s pulse and then moving on to Danica and the others.

“Just giving them space to think,” Ruby said. She cued music, which played through the the drive-in’s loudspeakers. “It’s basic time dilation. They’ll have as long as they need to come up with their proposal, and we only have to wait until the song concludes.” Ruby and Al closed their eyes and hummed along with the beat, leaving Michael to try shaking the women to wake them up. Once the song ended, all of them slowly and groggily sat back up.

“We’re back here?” Janet asked.

“Back?” Michael asked, checking in with each of the girls to see they were ok and receiving nods, grunts (in Luciana’s case), and long, lingering looks (in Vivian’s) to say they were.

“I was in some kind of… work room.” Janet said. “No windows, no door. Just a seat and a table and a notebook. They wouldn’t let me leave until I made up one of those awful things. It took forever for me to think of one…”

“Janet, you were out for like thirty seconds.” Michael said.

“Time dilation, Mikey. Remember? Maybe pay attention next time?” Al said.

“How long were you in there?” Michael asked.

“They’re back at the Hotel.” Ruby said.

“So magic up some new ones. I know you can do it, so do it.” Michael pressed again. Al was looking on with no shortage of amusement at Michael’s attempt. Ruby was feeling too good to let this little pissing contest bring her down, but she did need to re-establish herself.

“Very well.” Ruby turned to face the hotel, glowing in the distance, held up her hand over her head. Nothing obvious happened, and Danica’s groaning was the only sound. A whistling sound began in the distance, increasing in pitch, until the Danica’s pill bottle rocketed out of the darkness into Ruby’s hand. The bottle made a loud crack as it struck her palm, but she did not react or appear to suffer any pain from it.

Sharing is Caring - Other contestants may approach her and ask for permission to sleep with Master. She does not have to give it. If she says Yes, the VP total is increased and Danica gains some as well. If she says No, the other contestant can still do it, but some of the VPs are paid from Danica’s total. [Ruby]
