Second Flight

After a couple hours of sitting in a chair, Rabiah got up.

It was time for her flight back home to Minneapolis. Putting her Quran back into her purse she headed for the line. Surprisingly, the actual lines were extremely short.

"Phew." Rabiah thought, smile on her face. "Time to get home."

It felt odd boarding the second plane. On one hand, this would mean the end of her vacation. As a coder who worked from home, there wasn't really in the way of co-workers to interact with.

So the Muslim made one more text. Simple one, not quite showing all her feelings for her girlfriend. That was better saved for the times when she could hear her voice and maybe see her.

On my flight home. Talk to you later. ❤

Sending it, Aicha already a response back.

Sounds good. ;)

Putting the phone back into her purse, Rabiah made her way down towards the plane. Finding her seat, she sat herself down.

The flight from her to Minneapolis is surprisingly just as long as that as the one leaving from Saudia Arabia to Tokyo. The plane wasn't as nice either.

"Drink?" a flight attendant inquired, cart passing through.

Rabiah looked up from her Quran.

"I'll pass." she answered, the attendant just nodding. It was a similar story when the food cart came around. Though they didn't ask about her this time. "Phew."

When she got bored of reading her Quran, Rabiah did the Sudoku and the crossword puzzle found in the airline magazine. Between the two, there was little in the way of boredom for her.

"We are now touching down in Minneapolis. We do hope you enjoyed your flight."

Filing out of the plane, Rabiah found her way to the terminal. Though, that didn't explain the amount of women in pinafores.

"Probably should give Aicha a call."
