Season 1 – Credits

Therefore, the tale of Uklag comes to its end. Okay, technically, it ended a few chapters ago but I had some things I wanted to clean up before moving unto the next bit. I know up to now Ulal does not seem that much different from Uklag and they are fairly alike due to reasons already established. Season 2 however should show you some differences.

To put it into D&D Terms Uklag was chaotic evil while Ulal is lawful evil. Being a half demon kind of has that implication. At least in this story.

The twins – Chaotic Evil

Droy – Chaotic Neutral

Aclysia – True Neutral

Meltzer – Neutral Evil (Arguably, he is a hard fit)

At this point I would once again like to thank all my readers for their continued interest. I will take a weeklong break here to pre-plan a bit of the future and do some other stuff. If you would be so nice drop a like on this chapter (only this, I do not care much about thumbs in general but I want to shower in the glory of having gotten this far for a bit). Season 2 will have a lot of the current cast left in the dust, namely Zal, Droy (obviously, he is dead), Celine, Meltzer and the twins will have a lot less to no screen time. Alratha, Catherine and Aclysia will be taking the centre stage. We get one more male main character added to the roster, another female one will resurface and two will be added but not on the main story side.

Season 2 also will be built a bit different, but this is taking things too far for a sneak peek.

For a bit of Trivia while I am gone:

This stores mainbranch has a current word count of almost ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND WORDS and is 148 pages long. In text size 11 if I might add.

I made up the names Analea and Aelana on the spot. I only wanted to add weird demonic sounding gibberish to the summoning, wrote Analea, saw that it worked backwards and went ‘Yep, those are their names’.

I later shortened their names to An and Al when character were speaking. Only much later did I realize I was writing ‘An, Al’ very often. Which shortens to Anal. Weirdly fitting.

Another thing that is weirdly fitting is Celine. Her original name was Cenile. Which I promptly forgot about. Fitting because Cenile and senile sound very alike.

The whole Arlheim Arc was completely improvised on the spot and took the place of another much worse storyline where Uklag hides in the Capital.

In a very early chapter Aelana asks who the woman was Uklag sacrificed to summon them, to this day he has not answered her question.

Originally, Hans was supposed to make Uklag get lost in the forest.

Ulal went through a lot of different names. Ugjak, Jaklul, Juklagk, the one Hans mentions (Uklakal) was the one I used in mental notes most of the time until I wrote it down and saw how fucking stupid it looked.

Uklag was afraid of trees, the open sea and hated when people manipulated his mind. All three of these have their source in Ushye.

The Magic-Explanation chapters were born from me being bored out of my mind of my own characters and wanting to write something technical for a change.

Catherine spawned into existence because I really licked a gif with a black haired girl with a braid and black lipstick, could not find any porn that looked like her, and needed to make my own instead.

The bearded guy that bought and then resold the Orichalcum is still wandering around the Wekgrond.

Droy actually wanted to be burned on the sea but Celine took the next best thing.

Ulal’s new outfit is not going to be the strongest enchanted object in the next season. It ranks at number three.

Uklag was the youngest in a family of five. Of these five, three died in a sandstorm.

Catherine’s orphanage (The Karstenstein orphanage) Is a wealthy organization in the capital of Estara that gets its money of donations from the military as they produce very promising recruits.

The reason why Uklag’s mistress became heavily indulgent is that her daughter ran away. This was supposed to be an early storyline but never went anywhere.

I really like writing characters becoming angry. That is why I gave Uklag a very easy trigger and used it ALL THE TIME.

Uklag’s old robes stayed behind in the abyss.

Alratha still has one more target on her list of people she wants to kill.

Zal loves potatoes.

Celine was originally supposed to be a noblewoman.

Aclysia is one of the first characters I wanted to add, but only very far into the story did I get the tools for it.

That is all I can currently think of. As mention earlier, criticism and questions are welcome and encouraged.
