Chapter 9 by brambank brambank

Where should Leanne go?

Search the attic

Leanne was still wary of the lift. It was thanks to that accursed contraption that she ended up in that creepy attic in the first place, only to be used by the strange little men. Not that she had minded so much but it still left her fearful of where she might end up next. Instead she decided to look around for an alternative option. There had to be more than one way out of there.

Walking around cautiously in the dim light Leanne suddenly banged her foot, causing her to trip to the floor with a hard thud. She cursed as she rubbed her sore toe before inspecting what had caused her fall. Reaching out her hand came into contact with a hard, metallic object. She instantly recoiled before hesitantly stretching forwards once more.

As her eyesight adjusted to that particularly gloomy corner, she saw what appeared be a ladder. This had to be the way out. She searched the floor for a released catch and with a creak the hatch began to drop. Sending clouds of dust into the air. Leanne wafting them away with a splutter.

She peered through the newly opened space. There was a darkly lit corridor below her. Similar to the ones she'd seen previously. She wasn't sure if it was a floor she'd visited or not, but it was a way out. She dropped the ladder and it fell with a loud clunk. Stopping halfway to the floor. Leanne dropped her legs through the hatch and gave the ladder a hard kick but it refused to budge.

With few options she climbed down preparing to drop the remaining few metres to the corridor below. However, she became entangled by thick cobwebs covering the hole and began hysterically thrashing about trying to free herself.

Spiders were probably her least favourite thing and even their webs freaked her out. She was now hanging with her upper body trapped by the thick webbing. Her feet still a metre or more from the corridor. It took a great deal more frantic wriggling for several minutes, her pert breasts jiggling side to side, before she finally dropped free and collapsed to the hard surface below.

After brushing the sticky cobwebs from her naked body, Leanne peered around at her new surroundings. At least it was quiet, with no sign of life in the dimly lit hallway. The question now was where to.

Where should Leanne go?
