What Does She do Next?

Cassandra cleaned herself and headed down to the kitchen. Not only did she need to eat, but her laptop was on the dining table as well.
Next to the aspirin and other pills on the table was a box she didn’t recognize. It was birth control. “FDA certified 100% fool-proof” the box read, “with a special mix guaranteed safe vitamins and hormones designed to enhance a woman’s sexuality.” She almost threw the box across the room in rage, buy stopped herself. She placed it down, and grabbed a muffin instead and sat down in front of her laptop. After a few minutes of searching, she found an article, published by Yale, titles “A Brief History of America’s Sexual Revolution.” Despite being called brief, it was still quite lengthy. Luckily, there was detailed timeline in the middle;
1961: A group of radical feminists win a victory in the Supreme Court that rules, since a woman’s reproductive organs are internal, total female nudity cannot be ruled as obscene and is protected free speech. Male nudity is still ruled as obscene.
1962: Fresh off the Supreme Court Victory, the radical feminist movement that won the court case pair up with a communist sect to conduct what they call a “grand experiment.” In a nearly uninhabited region of the Midwest, they set up a settlement where the adult women remain nude and were freely available to the men of the settlement.
1968: The Federal Government investigates the settlement and find that the crime rate is essentially zer, including violent and sex crimes. Also, despite a population disruption roughly mimicking most of America, the settlement’s government and economic bodies had proportionally more women in potions of power than at any point in US history. The low crime rate had attracted many people that were originally not part of the experiment to join, leading to unprecedented economic prosperity.
1970: The settlement goes public with their findings after nearly ten years. They announce that “America’s puritanical fear of sex had created a patriarchal resentment of women, meant to oppress and punish them for the urges that could not be expressed. By embracing the natural sexuality of the woman, and it's role in society, women can be liberated from the tyranny and fear they live under.”
1971: Faced with the controversial news, a national debate ensues about the merit of the idea. Similar experiments pop up over the nation, with similar results. A growing body of evidence points to the overwhelming positives of the system. Riots ensue both for and against the idea.
1972: The idea is put to a national referendum. After intense campaigning on both sides, the American Sexual Health Act is passed. The law states , in summation, that;
- All female citizens “of age” (between the ages of 18 and 50) must remain nude at all times. Shoes and other accessories that do not cover an excessive amount of skin are not considered clothes. Exceptions for winter apply.
- All female citizens of age must accept sex with any male citizen of age, with some exceptions. Exceptions include, but are not limited to; injury, pregnancy, engagement and marriage. Acts that would otherwise cause bodily arm or a risk to health can be refused.
- A female citizen of age refusing a male citizen of age will be sanctioned, including fines and potential arrest.
- All female citizens of age are to be provided with sexual health care, including birth control and abortion access, free of personal cost.
- All obscenity laws related to males are still in effect.
- Private institutions are free to regulate sexual intercourse on their property as they see fit.
1973: A constitutional convection is held to ratify the bill of rights to accommodate the new law. Concerns for the LGBT community are voiced and addressed.
1974: The American Sexual Health Act goes into full effect across the nation.
Cassandra sat back, feeling the cool wood of the chair against her bare back as bile bubbled up again in her stomach. It was madness. Complete insanity. There was no way the women of America were all walking around naked, free to be fucked by whatever man asked! And yet, she recalled the anchor on the television, and the woman walking the dog, and even, she clutched her stomach, her own photographs.
Her mind went back to the woman in the red suit, and she took to the internet again. All the presidents since Nixon were a parade of new faces, and most of them were women. Of the top 100 wealthiest CEOs in America, 65 were women. As Cassandra scanned the headshots, she saw more bare shoulders than clothed ones among the women. Two-thirds of the top Universities in the country were headed by women.
According to all the statistics she could find, violent crime and sex crimes were at their lowest rates in history, at essentially zero. The US hasn’t been involved with an armed conflict since Vietnam. Fossil fuel cares were all but obsolete, and the environment and begun turning around from decades of pollution. The super storms that had rocked the coasts hadn’t happened as a result, saving the nation billions upon billions of dollars. American’s were healthier than ever before and obesity rates were under 5%. The last company to be caught paying their women less was in 1991 and they were quickly unincorporated and the management jailed for fraud. The last **** case was tried in 1994 and the sentence was life in prison. America was the largest and most stable economy in world, and the leader in technological advancements.
Everywhere Cassandra looked she saw women leading the way as titans of industry and mavens of technology, doing it all as naked as the day they were born and freely available to any man.
“Great change and sacrifice, huh?” Cassandra let out a delirious laugh and the gravity of her situation started to settle.

Was it Worth it?
Everyone knows if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is. But what if the bargain was so good you couldn’t refuse it anyway?
