Scenario 2: The Totem of Futarima

An ancient totem of a long forgotten Fertility goddess, said that when a worthy individual touches it they will be granted the power of the goddess but will be cursed with the desire to breed forever. However it's value is quite high but there are those who are secret cults of this totem who are willing to do what it takes to acquire this totem and obtain it's power. Who will claim this power if it is true? Does a curse truly exist or is it a misunderstanding of ancient text?
