Say goodbye to the royal family.

Once everybody is dressed and ready, they meet in the throne room once again.

You're present, as are your companions, though the queen and her family have yet to come. There are guards awaiting their arrival. Though before that, a different figure steps into light. It's not Queen Catherine II, but a different Catherine--Cat, the vampiress. She has her black parasol down, but ready for departure. Slowly, her heels click along the red carpet, and she makes her way to the party.

"It's good to see you again," you say. "I hope your talk with the queen was all right."

"... It was fine," she says, but doesn't expand on that thought.

"You missed a fun bath."

"Then make it up to me another time."

Nyllia can't help but giggle under her breath.

The doors open. First comes the queen herself, dressed once more in her illustrious crimson gown, and near her marches Lady Isabelle Turner. Then in their wake, you see the queen's sister Princess Dayna, and her husband Finaros. Between them is their son, Prince Einarr. You can't help but think about the other night--the state in which you saw the princess, and what she said. You make eye contact for a moment, but neither of you speak.

Lady Turner bows her head and removes herself from the circle.

Then, Queen Catherine II steps forward. "I thank you again for heeding my invitation, King Warren. This was a lovely visit, and while the speech didn't go exactly as I had planned, I had a feeling it wouldn't, yet it ended better than I could have hoped. Now the streets aren't just filled with chatter about who the next mayor of Avana will be, but talk of the great Hero King, the gods Feli and Lepo, and what wonders may be found up in Castle Phoenix. I expect you'll be seeing an influx in visitors soon."

Princess Dayna curtsies with a warm smile upon her face. "Please visit Tolis sometime soon. We'll be happy to host your coming."

"Yeah!" cheers Einarr. "When you visit, can you tell me the story about how you got your sword? Or your armour? Or your cool boots?"

"Calm down, boy," whispers Finaros. He looks to you with a nod. "Any uncertainties I may have aside, you'll still be a welcomed guest at our castle."

"Well, I got something for you, my queen," you say while reaching into your Bag of Holding. You feel the insides tremble as you slowly pull out a small metal slab. You hold it for her to take. "This is something called a FONE."

She grabs it curiously. "What is a FONE?" she asks. "It has your name on it."

"That's right. We have several of these. You can write in the names of other people who have one, and if you place your finger upon that name, it functions like an even more effective Sending Stone."

"Fascinating! So now I may contact you whenever I wish."

"Correct. So let me know if you need anything, Catherine. I can Bunny Hop there in an instant."

She smiles wide. "This is the greatest gift you could have given me."

"It's always a bummer to say goodbye, though we won't be far," you say. "Thanks again for inviting us here. Good luck with the election, and I've been happy to see Avana recovering so rapidly."

"Me as well," the queen responds. "Travel safely. Though I suppose you'll be teleporting back anyway."

"That's right. But not yet. I have another stop I gotta make before I go."

"Then let me know if you need anything more. Goodbye, Kyle Warren."

"We'll miss you," adds Dayna.

Nyllia bows her head low. "It was a pleasure, Your Majesty."

A moment later, Xiaoqing mimics her companion, though doesn't speak.

Cat simply nods in silence.

And finally, after all the chaos of the previous day, and the passion of the night, you depart from her manor in Avana, and once again enter the streets, which are gradually clearing once more--tents, discarded mugs and bottles, food scraps, all being cleaned from the prior festivities.
