Say goodbye properly

The rest of the trip is rather uneventful as she gets back to her house, she may not be in the best mood with her mother right now.... but she did want to give a proper goodbye to her. Dakota walks on through the small town back to her house and walks in, her mother at the kitchen cooking some food, hearing the door open she looks up and sees Dakota and smiles running over to her and hugging her.

"I was afraid I wouldn't get to say goodbye" she says happily as she holds Dakota close

"y-yeah... I felt it was only right to say bye properly" Dakota says hugging back before pulling away "you take care mum" she says smiling

"you too... oh and take this with you" she says handing her a journal

"heh, thank you mum, I will write how my adventure goes" Dakota says smiling and taking the journal... though this lovely moment is interrupted as barry's mother bursts in to the house "Is Barry here!?" she asks worried

"No, he left for Route 202 last I saw him" Dakota says

"Damn him... he left this package and I need someone to get it to him" she says holding up a brown package

Dakota sighs and nods "I will take it, he is bound to run in to me again" she says and takes the package before heading on out, she now needed to find Barry.
