Let nature take its course?
Save the damsel damnit!
Garris picks up a small stone and throws it right next to the girl. She instinctively flinches, and looks up to where it came. They make eye contact and her eyes widen. He places his fingers over his mouth, shushing her and points at the locust who is still stalking her behind the trees. As soon as she sees the creature, she screams, causing it to run and tackle the poor girl into the pond. “Damnit!” Garris cries, springing into action as he throws himself through the forest, taking his knife out yet again. He lunges at the locust and hurried the knife deep into its shoulder. The monster screaches and let’s go of the girl. The locust swats Garris away, then begins clawing at its own back.
