Samantha can find another job. You have to minimize damages.

You know you don't have much time. For as much as you may have changed things around, as long as you give Samantha her BOOKISH she should be back to her old self. She could always find another job. For now the important thing is giving back the MOM trait to Francesca, and don't go overboard with changes. You press the button, and let go of a big breath as the thirty minutes timer start to count down.

As the time ticks down you go back to your cataloguing job, occasionally glancing at your coworker and giving her tasks to do. You witness real time as both her attitude towards what she is doing and her dress code change drastically in front of you. The brown suit and skirt morph into a more casual pullover and comfortable pants, her hair comes undone back to the way she had it when she first stepped in the building this morning. More importantly you see warmth and niceness come back in her expression, as her skills of cataloguing and knowledge of the job she is doing are deteriorating. You don't know why or how, but directing her to do her job still manages to keep her here, like she is not a LIBRARIAN, not in style and attitude, but she still works here. Just like you do, you guess... you never really considered yourself a librarian. You don't look the part, nor actually try to do more than the bare minimum. That doesn't explain why Samantha had left and wasn't working here now, though.

Professor Carel comes in and you thank whatever entity in the sky that the watch is doing it's timer thingy, or you would have been really tempted to try and see what trait(you finally decided on traits as the words that appeared) you would have extracted from her. The woman, almost in her fifties as you read on the library card, exuded hotness in that "mature but still rocking it" way.

The last five minutes you help Francesca with block ordering books from your request portal, so that you can quickly change her back as soon as possible.

"Are you waiting for something?" She asks looking at you checking your watch every few seconds.

"Mhh? Oh, yeah. Just waiting for a text..." You stay as vague as you can.

"Uhhh, I imagine..." She smiles at you in a teasing way, then turns back to the screen.

You don't need the beeping to know that the fusion is done. You were already staring at the screen obsessively for the last fifteen seconds.

STRICT-LIBRARY-MOM

You are disappointed. For a second you had hoped it would do something a bit more elaborate instead of stringing everything word for word. At least the way it phrased the traits was better than BOSSY-LIBRARIAN-MOM or any combination of the original words.

You gently tap at Francesca's hand, and the red screen turns to black.
