Where does our story begin?
Sally, a 27 year old college dropout with pure intentions (and poor execution)
Sally knew she could do so much with her life. She was confident. She just had to get to doing it.
She went to ccollege to become a psychologis - her parents were proud. So was she of herself, until the first year came and went, leaving her burnt out and her grades less than mediocre. That student loan wasn't getting any smaller, so the safest choice was to drop out.
That was okay, though! She could do other things, like being a social worker, or a farmer. She loved farms!
She turned twenty, and neither of those panned out either.
Another couple years came and went; another couple ideas followed suit.
She turned twenty-five, and yet still, she just couldn't find anything. Now, she owed more on her student loans than she even started with! Fuck you, interest, she thought.
By age twenty-seven, she worked the register at a co-op. Sure, it's... retail... but at least she was helping the community!
Until the store got bought by a chain and commodotized.
So, walking home with nothing left of her hopes and dreams but a tattered receipt, Sally tripped. When she looked at what she tripped over, she saw...
A stick.
Not any ordinary stick, however; it was metallic. Shiny; heavy, when she picked it up.
No sooner after that did she feel a rush.
Power!
Maybe this was her chance! A chance to do something with her life!
Do some good!
She felt like she could really pull the world back together with this thing. She knew she could! She felt it in her very soul!
