Velvet Vixen doesn’t hesitate.

Her red lips curl into a slow, mischievous smile as she taps her chin thoughtfully.

“How about…” she says, her voice dipping into playful territory, “something a little more magical girl?”

Madame Mirage arches a brow, intrigued.

“Oh? A wand-wielding heroine, darling? How fitting.”

Velvet Vixen’s grin deepens as she adds, confidently:

“Give me Sailor Moon… but make it me.”

Mirage practically beams.

“You in that? Now that’s a dream I didn’t know I had.”

She raises her wand, and with a theatrical snap and a shimmering swirl of pink-and-gold smoke, the transformation begins.

Velvet Vixen’s skin glows as her costume melts into magic light. When the smoke clears—

She stands tall in a classic sailor senshi uniform: a pleated skirt that hugs her hips and flutters just a little too freely, a bold ribbon over her chest, and a collar draped perfectly over her back. The colors are custom—deep violet and fiery red, echoing her hair, which now cascades in stylized, voluminous waves that sparkle faintly with magical energy. Her gloves are white and elbow-length, her boots knee-high and shining.

A gold tiara rests just beneath her domino mask, and her emerald eyes gleam beneath it.

“How do I look?” she asks, hands posed at her sides in a knowingly cheesy stance.

Madame Mirage is momentarily speechless. Then:

“Exquisite.”

She doesn’t just admire—she steps forward, her gloved hands drifting around Velvet Vixen’s waist. She pulls her close, arms circling her like the next act of a disappearing trick. Her lips graze Vixen’s ear as she speaks.

“I never thought I’d be jealous of a cartoon… but here we are.”

Her hands drift along the folds of the magical skirt, trailing up to rest on the small of Velvet Vixen’s back.

And Velvet Vixen?

She leans into the touch. Her breath catches, not just from the costume’s snug embrace, but from Mirage’s voice—low, rich, and dangerously close.

“You really are having fun,” Mirage whispers.

Velvet Vixen doesn’t deny it.
