Saber vs Lancer

A/N: Sorry Rabbitjack. Lancer gets the ol' short end of the stick in this storyline too.

Shinji Matou stands behind his pitch black servant. "It's a nice day for you to die, don't you agree Lancer?" Shinji cackles as he confidently stands behind his pitch black servant. "Don't get so cocky, kid. The fight's not even started!" Lancer quips. "Let's see if my lance will put a few holes in ya!" He exclaims before launching his attack.

Saber growls and deflects Lancer's blows with ease. Shinji laughs. "Not before Saber's sword cuts you down to size! Kill him!" Shinji screeches. Saber sidesteps Lancer's thrust as she brings in her sword for the riposte strike. "Clang* Lancer parries by bringing his lance upright just in time.

The duo tango like this for some time. "Quit toying around with him Saber!" Shinji scoffs, unappreciative of what's been given to him. Saber shifts her eyes off Lancer for the briefest of moments to eye Shinji. Lancer takes the opportunity to score a strike against Saber, a gash of blood pours from her open wound.

"Saber, what are you doing!? Allowing yourself to get hit. You're worthless!" Shinji chides. Saber re-focuses herself to stand off yet again against Lancer and hrmphs. "Tsk-tsk, Saber. Took your eyes off this beautiful face." Saber rages and pushes forward an **** with her sword, covered with Invisible Air.

The sounds of metal on metal ring clearly through the woods. Saber presses in aggressively, she's beginning to overwhelm Lancer with her close combat ability. Several strikes land against Lancer and his armor. His blood splatters the ground.

"Yes, Saber! Now finish the job! Show him why you are the true King of Knights!" Shinji shouts. Lancer hops away from Saber in an effort to increase distance. "King of Knights..." Lancer mutters to himself. "King Arthur?" Lancer asks. 'The one and only! Arturia Pendragon! Or to her subjects, King Arthur! To you, however, she is your ****!"

Saber releases Invisible Air to reveal the black blade, Excalibur. "What happened to you...?" Lancer asks. "I've made her stronger! Exactly how, that is none of your concern!" Shinji retorts. Saber raises her blade as blackness begins to flow into it. "Then the least I can do is grant you a swift release from this evil. I am sorry, King Arthur."

Lancer cocks his lance as Saber nears her limit, "GAE BOLG!" Lancer shouts as he releases his cursed spear. "EXCALIBUR!" Saber retorts as the **** of Excalibur overwhelms Gae Bolg and Lancer, blowing him away into bits. When the smoke clears, all that is left is Shinji, cackling madly.
