S.S. Anne

As I walked along the pier to the giant cruise ship, I couldn't help but marvel at my luck. A week long cruise as an apology for getting the crap scared out of me. Not a bad tradeoff as things go.

"Excuse me ma'am, may I see your ticket?" A sailor in white clothes and a white hat held out his hand in a motion to stop me.

"Sure thing, here you are! When do we set sail?" I flashed him my ticket as requested.

"The S.S. Anne sets sail in a week, so you have a week to mingle and party to your heart's content. Enjoy!"

"Wait, it doesnt leave for a week? And then it leaves for a week right?"

"No ma'am, we leave for the aloah region after this, and we wont be back for another year."

I thanked the man and went inside, climbing up the small ramp to enter in the the open door. Evidently it was a week long party on the cruise ship, not a week long cruise. Might as well mingle and make the most of it.

"It's been a long trip, so don't be suprised if the passengers want to battle. Have fun!" The man who helped me step into the ship told me, as I continued on past him.
