Running Water

Take nods and ignores the items for now. She seems intrigued by the items though as she approaches the statue. She looks it over, admiring it, but wary. She takes the key and turns to leave, but the sound of running water suddenly fills the room and tentacles made out of water rush up from the grate. Take gasps as the tentacles spread out trying to block access to the door out of the room. "They're trying to trap me," she mutters and contemplates trying to run past them, but watching the thick looking tentacles moving and reaching out around the room gives her pause. More of the tentacles begin to head directly towards her and she steps back feeling her back hit against the outstretched hands of the statue and she swallows, "I might be able to get through, but they move very quickly. They don't seem to be able to see and are reaching randomly, but their random flailing makes it hard to spot an opening that I can be sure won't be blocked seconds later," she explains partially analyzing it for herself, but also speaking out loud for the benefit of the voices.
