Runes And Plants

I fly back to my cabin while checking the timer. I see I still have about an hour until the plants grow. I go tell the girls what I was up to while looking for Verona. I warn them about the Lady of The Lake just in case she tries to scare them. Verona walks downstairs as I finish up.

"Hey Verona, do you know the Runic language?" I ask and she nods.

"Yes, do you want to learn it?" She asks and I nod. She reaches into the air and her hand disappears. She pulls out a book, made of leather with a single rune on the cover. "Here you go. It's a book I made to teach another God the Runic language. But you'll need the Runic Reading Skill to read them." She says.

"I've already learnt it." I reply while taking the book. She nods before leaving the cabin. I walk over to the chest and take out my Runic Gravers Glasses. I don't know if they'll help me learn the Runes, but it's not like it'll hurt using them. I equip them before running over to the farm. I pick up rocks on the way and store them in my inventory. I don't want to lose track of time and miss the plants. I'm a little shocked to see they haven't changed at all. I sit on the grass, outside the line of fence posts. They haven't gotten the fences for it yet. I open the book and see the table of contents. I look through them and find what I'm looking for. I flip to the Melee Runes section. I quickly find the runes I'm looking for. The Runes for Cutting, Power, Strength, and Impact. I use 2 of my Enchanted Steel to make a Runic Engraving Wand. As the book told me to use. I start Engraving the runes into the rocks I picked up. I Engrave all four onto each rock. I take note of the mana cost for each. After Engraving thirteen rocks, I stop looking at the book. I want to be able to do it by memory. Once I've finished all thirty of the rocks I examine them. They all seem the same and I store them away. I see I still have a few more minutes and I check my notifications.

Blacksmithing Lvl 5(MAX)

Blacksmithing now significantly boosts the quality of the created item. Even using low-grade material will yield a good weapon or item.

Runic Engraving Lvl 2

Runic Engraving now lets you Engrave more advanced Runes.

Runic Engraving Lvl 3

Runic Engraving will now Engrave the Runes with more power than normal. This will consume double the Mana in the process. The runes will permanently keep the boost.

I smile and stand up while storing the book away I was hoping for something like that while Engraving the rocks. I look back at the timer and see I have a minute.

"They haven't grown yet have they!?" I hear Verona shout as she runs along the grass. She's moving quickly and taking large steps. They look more like leaps than steps though. Each time, a gust of wind blows behind her.

"No, they still have a minute." I say as she stops next to me.

"See, I told you we had time." Gaia says while landing behind me. She tucks away her angelic wings. I turn back to the plants, just to see Ramia and the others running toward us. "Looks like everyone wants to see this." Gaia says.

"That they should!" Verona says and Gaia lets out an amused sigh. The others get here and we wait for a few seconds. As the timer reaches zero the plants each gather light. The Blue Locus Seed gets engulfed in blue light, and the Silver Seed's light is silver. The light grows and takes different shapes. The lights fade and I look at the plants. The Silver Seed has grown into a bush of thorny silver vines. They look like they're all tangled up together. The Blue Locus Seed has grown into a large flower. It has the stem of a sunflower. Instead of a sunflower, it has a blue locus flower. Both the stem and flower are a deep blue. Verona runs past me and starts looking at the plants. She gently runs her hands over them. I walk up to them and Observe them.

Silver Vines(20), Mythos Material

These vines were made of pure mana. They're covered in thorns and tangled together. They're incredibly tough and durable, making for great material for weapons and armor. They grew thanks to the blood of a Mythos. Only Mythos can wear or wield items made with this unless the other items used lower its quality enough. It can be used for Alchemy, at which point anyone can drink it. However if normal Lyna drink it too often, they will die from it becoming toxic. Once harvested, the plant will regrow within forty-eight hours

Blue Locus Flower, Mythos Material

This flower was made of pure mana. The flower is very soft and delicate. But it contains a massive amount of mana. The stem is tough and durable, however, it's not tough enough for weapons on its own. It grew thanks to the blood of a Mythos. Only Mythos can wear or wield items made with this unless the other items used lower its quality enough. It can be used for Alchemy, at which point anyone can drink it. However if normal Lyna drink it too often, they will die from it becoming toxic. Once harvested, the plant will regrow within twenty-four hours

"What did you find out?" Verona asks and I tell her what Observe showed me.
